A Day in the Life of Senior Manager, SFCC

The B2C Delivery Lead is responsible for leading the India-based delivery team supporting L'Oréal Americas B2C Ecommerce platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud). This is a hands-on role responsible for the overall delivery and the team performance for a 7-10 member team. The Delivery Lead functionally reports into US based Ecommerce Architecture and Engineering Lead and partners closely with the US based B2C Pillar Lead to translate business priorities into high-quality, timely technical execution, while serving as the primary people leader and technical escalation point for the India-based team.

Be responsible for the following:

Oversee end-to-end delivery of B2C Ecommerce initiatives on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) platform
Identify technical solutions for business requirements within L'Oreal SFCC framework
Implement complex native SFCC features and third-party integrations
Ensure delivery quality, adherence to engineering best practices, code standards, and release processes
Proactively identify and resolve technical risks, delivery blockers, and cross-team dependencies
Maintain oversight of sprint execution, release planning

People Management

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 7-10 SFCC developers (Mix of junior, senior and leads)
Drive retention and engagement within the India Tech Hub, fostering a strong local team culture

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner closely with the US-based B2C Design/Pillar Lead and Product Owner to align on priorities, roadmap, and sprint planning
Act as the primary technical/delivery point of contact for the India team during the daily overlap window
Collaborate with Architects, Business Analysts, and cross-functional IT teams (OMS, Analytics, B2B) to ensure integrated delivery
Provide regular status updates, risk escalations, and delivery metrics to US stakeholders and Domain leadership.

Process & Continuous Improvement

Champion Agile ways of working, retrospectives, backlog grooming) within the team
Drive adoption of AI in the engineering process to improve team productivity
Contribute to capacity/skills tracking and reporting to support broader Ecommerce domain planning.

What are we looking for?

Required Qualifications

10-15 years of overall IT experience, with strong exposure to Ecommerce platforms
3-5 years of experience managing a team of 7-10 members, including performance management and career development
Strong understanding of Ecommerce business processes (B2C/D2C), including hands-on experience with SFRA, complex custom features, custom third-party integration
Strong working knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) implementations, architecture, and best practices
Proven ability to manage relationships with global/US-based business and technical stakeholders across time zones
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable presenting delivery status and risks to senior stakeholders
Strong working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and sprint-based delivery
