Awish Dermacare Pvt. Ltd. is a leading dermatology and aesthetic healthcare company dedicated to providing advanced skin, hair, and cosmetic treatments through modern technology and patient-centric care. We are looking for a skilled and dedicated OT Technician to assist in surgical and aesthetic procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, infection control, and operation theatre management.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare the Operation Theatre (OT) before procedures by ensuring all instruments, equipment, and consumables are available and in working condition.
Assist dermatologists and surgeons during dermatological, cosmetic, and minor surgical procedures.
Sterilize surgical instruments and maintain strict infection control and aseptic protocols.
Prepare patients for procedures by assisting with positioning and pre-operative requirements.
Monitor and maintain OT equipment, ensuring timely reporting of faults or maintenance needs.
Maintain OT inventory, including surgical instruments, disposables, medicines, and consumables.
Ensure proper documentation of sterilization records, OT checklists, and equipment maintenance logs.
Follow biomedical waste management and disposal protocols in accordance with applicable healthcare regulations.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure smooth OT operations.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the OT and recovery areas.
Support post-procedure activities, including instrument cleaning and patient transfer as required.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety protocols, and quality standards.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of operation theatre procedures and surgical assistance.
Understanding of sterilization techniques and infection prevention practices.
Familiarity with OT equipment and surgical instruments.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic computer knowledge for maintaining records and documentation.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) or a related allied healthcare discipline.
1–3 years of experience as an OT Technician in a hospital, dermatology clinic, cosmetic surgery centre, or healthcare facility.
Experience assisting in dermatology, plastic surgery, cosmetic procedures, or hair transplant surgeries will be an added advantage.
Freshers with relevant qualifications and internship experience may also apply.
