Full job description

Job Summary

The HR Executive is responsible for supporting and executing day-to-day human resource functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, attendance and leave management, payroll coordination, performance management, policy implementation, and compliance with labor laws. The role helps create a positive workplace culture while ensuring efficient HR operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Selection

Source candidates through job portals, social media, and employee referrals.
Screen resumes and schedule interviews.
Coordinate interview processes with hiring managers.
Conduct reference and background checks where required.
Assist in preparing offer letters and appointment letters.

Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle

Manage employee onboarding and orientation programs.
Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
Handle confirmations, transfers, promotions, and exit formalities.
Conduct exit interviews and maintain related records.

Payroll & Attendance

Monitor employee attendance and leave records.
Coordinate monthly payroll inputs with the finance or payroll team.
Ensure accurate maintenance of employee data related to payroll.

Employee Relations

Address employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures.
Support employee engagement activities and wellness initiatives.
Assist in resolving workplace concerns while maintaining confidentiality.
Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.

Performance Management

Support the performance appraisal process.
Maintain performance records and follow up on appraisal timelines.
Assist managers in implementing performance improvement plans where needed.

HR Administration

Prepare HR reports and maintain employee databases.
Draft HR letters, certificates, and employment-related documents.
Ensure HR files are accurate and up to date.
Maintain confidentiality of employee information.

Compliance

Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and company policies.
Assist in statutory documentation and HR audits.
Support the implementation and communication of HR policies.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
MBA/PGDM in Human Resources is preferred.
3–4 years of experience in Human Resources or a related role.

Required Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of recruitment and interview coordination.
Understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
Experience with HRMS software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
