About SPO

The Students' Placement Office (SPO) serves as the central platform for student career development. It facilitates placements, internships, and higher education opportunities while strengthening industry–academia engagement. The SPO supports students through structured processes and institutional partnerships.

Role Summary

The Outreach Strategy Manager will lead outreach, branding, and communication initiatives related to placements, internships, and higher education opportunities through social media, alumni engagement, and external networks.

Key Responsibilities

Manage social media and communication platforms of the office.
Generate leads for placements, internships, and higher education opportunities.
Coordinate outreach campaigns with industry, alumni, and institutions.
Develop promotional content, reports, and presentations.
Maintain recruiter and institutional engagement databases.
Transfer qualified leads to relevant managers/coordinators for action.

Detailed Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the office's digital communication channels, including social media platforms, websites, and outreach communication tools.
Design and execute strategic outreach and engagement campaigns to enhance institutional visibility and brand presence.
Generate and track leads for placements, internships, higher education, and academic collaborations.
Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners, alumni, academic institutions, and other external stakeholders.
Create and curate promotional content, presentations, brochures, reports, and communication materials aligned with institutional branding guidelines.
Maintain and regularly update databases of recruiters, academic institutions, alumni contacts, and outreach engagements.
Analyse outreach data and engagement metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
Coordinate closely with placement, internship, and higher education teams to transfer qualified leads and ensure timely follow-up and conversion into opportunities.
Support institutional branding, public relations, and employer engagement initiatives through targeted communication efforts.
Ensure consistency, accuracy, and professionalism in all external communications and promotional activities.
Assist in organizing outreach events, networking sessions, and employer engagement programs.

Desired Qualifications

Postgraduate degree in Management, Human Resources, Engineering, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in Digital Marketing, placement or related functions within a public or private funded educational institution. The candidate should demonstrate strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills. Prior experience in student affairs or awareness of industry trends will be considered an added advantage.

Pay: From ₹500,000.00 per month
