Job Descriptions:

Roles and Responsibilities :
- Perform MIG and Arch welding on metal components as per drawings and work instructions.
- Carry out gas cutting, grinding, beveling, and surface preparation before and after welding.
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings and ensure proper fit-up and alignment.
- Inspect welded joints for strength, penetration, and finish as per quality standards.
- Identify and rectify welding defects such as cracks or porosity.
- Operate and maintain welding machines, gas cutting equipment, and grinders.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of welding consumables.
- Follow safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area and tools.
- Coordinate with supervisors and production team to meet daily targets.
- Report machine faults, safety hazards, or quality issues promptly.
- Ensure work is completed on time without compromising quality.
Desired Qualifications & Skill Requirements :
- ITI in Welding/Fabrication or Diploma in Mechanical/Welding Technology (preferred).
- 1–5 years of experience in welding or fabrication in a manufacturing industry.
- Hands-on experience in MIG welding, gas cutting, grinding, and basic fabrication work.
- Ability to read and interpret basic fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
- Knowledge of welding defects and basic troubleshooting (cracks, porosity, etc.).
- Familiarity with welding machines, gas cutting equipment, and grinders.
- Understanding of welding safety practices and proper use of PPE.
- Ability to maintain weld quality, proper alignment, and finishing.
- Teamwork, attention to detail, and ability to meet production targets.
- Physically fit and willing to work in a manufacturing environment / shifts if required.

Location: Palakkad, Kerala

Qualification: ITI/Diploma in Welding (preferred)

Experience: 1 - 5 Years
