Post- Internal Audit

Location- Minto Park

Age- Upto 35 years

Job Summary

The Audit Executive – is responsible for supporting internal and statutory audits related to commercial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, statutory regulations, and company policies. The role focuses on vendor audits, revenue and expense verification, contract compliance, and process improvements across commercial functions.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct internal audits of commercial transactions, including procurement, sales, billing, logistics, and vendor payments.
Verify accuracy of invoices, contracts, purchase orders, GRNs, and supporting documents.
Review revenue recognition, discounts, incentives, and rebates as per agreements and accounting policies.
Audit vendor accounts, advances, and settlements; identify discrepancies and follow up for resolution.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax) related to commercial activities.
Assist in statutory, tax, and internal audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and audit responses.
Evaluate internal controls and recommend process improvements to mitigate risks and enhance efficiency.
Prepare audit reports, observations, and action plans; track closure of audit points.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Sales, Logistics, Finance) for audit requirements.
Support management with ad-hoc reviews, MIS, and data analysis as required.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of commercial processes, accounting principles, and internal controls.
Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory compliances.
Attention to detail with strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
Ability to interpret contracts and commercial agreements.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
Good communication skills for coordination and audit discussions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance) preferred.

Experience

2–5 years of experience in audit, commercial operations, or finance/accounting roles.
Prior experience in internal audit, statutory audit, or commercial audit is an advantage.
