1-line JD: We’re looking for a hands-on Creative Director with some experience as a DOP / on-set Production bridging high-taste, cinematic short-form storytelling with brand growth metrics and post-production ownership to drive strong Short form content IPs and campaigns at our fastest growing D2C meat spices brand!

The Mission:

We are looking for a rare breed of creative executioner: a Creative Director + Brand Custodian who acts like Christopher Nolan on set. You are not a hands-off director who sits comfortably in a chair instructing people around. You are someone who gets your own hands dirty, tweaking the frame, adjusting the lighting, and executing down to the milli-meter when a perfect shot demands it.

You are a hybrid who perfectly bridges elite, social-first visual storytelling with core growth metrics and brand optics. You aren't chasing abstract, slow-paced feature film aesthetics; instead, you understand what specific hooks, edits, and visual choices directly drive brand outcomes and customer acquisition. Your ultimate trajectory is to step up into a Chief Content Officer role or lead large-scale content engines across a massive modern consumer brand.

Core Responsibilities:

End-to-End Creative Ownership: Actively own the script-to-screen pipeline. Direct actors, block scenes, map shot breakdowns, and command the camera to ensure world-class short-form storytelling.
Post-Production Direction: Own and direct the post-production process to seamlessly translate the creative vision of the script and shoot onto the final screens. Actively collaborate with and guide the internal editors, ensuring the pacing, sound design, visual flow, and core narrative hit a sharp, uncompromising benchmark
Oversee Distribution: Guide the team through scheduling, distribution, and performance tracking of all social media channels. Analyze core metrics (retention rates, visual hook success, and conversion signals) to iterate on content strategies.
Collaborative Concepting: Act as a flexible creative partner to the founder and lead writer, integrating multi-layered feedback to elevate the brand's creative output.
Optimise Production Layouts: Blueprint and execute lean, high-yield batch shoots (e.g., maximising 10 high-impact videos in a single Airbnb location over a weekend) without losing premium aesthetic value.
Experiential Content Mapping: Help script and conceptualise visual documentation and content strategies for physical, on-ground experiential brand events.

The Hands-on Maker: You possess an outstanding portfolio of Instagram Reels and short-form IPs that prove you know how to capture attention in under 3 seconds.
Growth & Optics Focused: You understand data. You don't just care about "beautiful frames" but you also care about retention curves, click-through rates, and what drives consumer action.
Ego-Free & Collaborative: You have incredibly high individual taste, yet you are deeply collaborative and adaptive when working alongside other strong creative voices.
Ambitious Career Trajectory: You want to run the show. You are looking for a launchpad that sets you up to be a future Chief Content Officer or Content Lead.

30-60-90 Day Success Metrics:

First 30 Days: Integration & Execution

Absorb our brand's product portfolio, brand tone, and current social channels.
Fully direct and execute your first 2 major batch video shoots from initial setup to final live edit.
Establish a clear, synchronised workflow with the lead writer and internal editor.

Day 31 to 60: System Ownership

Fully manage the monthly content calendar and track day-to-day analytics dashboard updates.
Introduce 1 new high-engagement recurring social IP or format tailored to our audience.
Take over creative production execution completely, letting the founder step out of daily tactical shooting loops.

Day 61 to 90: Scaling Outcomes

Standardise a predictable internal studio engine that consistently outputs high-retention content without quality drops.
Draft the creative content and distribution strategy for our upcoming on-ground physical experiential marketing events.
Demonstrate measurable improvement in view duration and organic social engagement metrics month-over-month.

Profile Constraint:

We are explicitly NOT looking for candidates who have sole experience EdTech, FinTech or corporate brands where high ticket sizes alter the entire marketing equation.

A sub-Rs. 1000 fast-moving consumer product requires quick visual impulses, instant brand love, and deep internet cultural relevance.

You must bring high aesthetic taste developed in a fast-paced creative agency or an indie production house.

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
