Lead Content Writer

Location : Coimbatore (on-site / hybrid, 3 days in office)
Type :Full-time
Immediate joiners considered : Yes
Reports to :CMO
Team :Leads 4-6 (writers, social, video and design)
Hours :India core hours with daily US overlap window
Languages : English and Tamil, both required

Its media arm, The Ark Connect, produces and distributes original digital content across multiple platforms and languages.

Justo Global delivers AI, cloud, managed IT, enterprise architecture, and custom software development solutions to emerging enterprises across the US, supported by its technology centres in Coimbatore and Chennai.

Roles and Responsibilities

YouTube and video

Own the YouTube strategy, publishing cadence and growth targets across The Ark Connect's English and Tamil channels.
Commission and brief scripts, titles, thumbnails and series concepts; review and approve all output before it goes live.
Track subscriber growth, watch time, CTR and engagement monthly and adjust strategy accordingly.

Editorial and content

Set and own the editorial calendar across both brands: what gets published, in which voice, on which channel.
Build The Ark Enterprise's editorial programme from the ground up: thought leadership, ministry tech insights and resources for faith-sector buyers.
Grow the Justo Global blog into a consistent, named-author programme with genuine B2B technology depth.
Own the case-study pipeline: interview delivery leads and clients, extract measurable outcomes, and produce structured case studies, one-pagers and gated assets for the sales team.
Bring a clear editorial point of view to the news operation so it reflects the brands, not just third-party summaries.
Write content directly when needed: scripts, blog posts, social copy and briefs, particularly for high-stakes or time-sensitive output.

Quality control

QC all content produced by the writing team before it is published or submitted, covering accuracy, brand voice, grammar and tone.
Set and maintain the quality bar across formats: YouTube scripts, blogs, case studies, social posts and news articles.
Provide structured feedback to writers after each review cycle so quality improves over time, not just on individual pieces.

Voice, standards and tools

Build and enforce two brand voice guides: mission-aligned for Ark, commercial B2B for Justo.
Own house style, the editorial review process, fact-checking discipline, and a clear policy on AI writing tools (ChatGPT, Jasper, etc.): what the team uses them for and what they don't.
Define and manage the content calendar tool (Notion, Asana or equivalent) so the team has one source of truth.

Social

Own channel strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and X for both brands: set the roles for each channel, approve the calendar and review performance monthly.
Brief the social team on what to post; you set direction, the team executes.

Team leadership

Lead 4-6 across writing, social, video and content design.
Write clear briefs, run editorial reviews, give developmental feedback and plan capacity realistically.
Help recruit into gaps as the team grows.
Report to US stakeholders on content performance in a fortnightly written summary.

Qualifications

6+ years in content, with 2+ years leading or mentoring writers and creators.
Full professional fluency in both English and Tamil: able to write original content and QC Tamil output produced by the team.
Hands-on experience growing a YouTube channel, from strategy through scripting, publishing and analytics.
Proven track record of B2B technology content: longform, case studies and campaign assets.
Demonstrated ability to write credibly for faith-based or mission-driven audiences.
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or equivalent, or a portfolio that makes the case without one.

Preferred: direct experience in the nonprofit, ministry or faith sector · familiarity with donor management, CRM or church platforms · multilingual content localisation and subtitling · familiarity with video editing or thumbnail production · experience briefing and managing video editors.

Skills

YouTube fluency: watch time, CTR, packaging, series planning and channel growth strategy.
Bilingual editorial command (English and Tamil): writes originally in English; directs, edits, QCs and approves Tamil content with an ear for tone, nuance and cultural fit.
Range of voice: moves between mission-driven faith-sector and commercial B2B registers without either sounding forced.
Editorial judgment: can commission, redirect or kill a piece, explain why, and propose the better version.
Quality control discipline: reviews content methodically for accuracy, voice, grammar and tone; gives feedback that raises the team's standard over time.
Hands-on writing ability: steps in to write scripts, posts or copy directly when the brief demands it.
Case-study craft: can draw a clear story and a real number from a technical lead who would rather not be interviewed.
SEO and YouTube search fluency: understands intent, topical authority and how AI-driven search surfaces content, without letting optimisation produce work no human wants to watch or read.
AI writing tool literacy: knows where AI tools to accelerate the work and where they don't, and can set team policy around both.
Content operations: runs an editorial calendar, a review process and a performance dashboard without it becoming an admin burden.
Team leadership: clear briefs, useful feedback, honest capacity planning.
