JOB DESCRIPTION: Senior Client Servicing & Operations Head

About the Company

It is a Mumbai-based corporate events, experiential marketing and brand activation agency servicing some of India's leading brands, including Audi, Škoda, Samsung, Tata Motors and other marquee corporates.

Our business is primarily focused on brand activations and experiential marketing, along with corporate events, conferences, launches, dealer meets and employee engagement programs.

The Opportunity

The Company is looking for an experienced Mumbai Business Head / Senior Client Servicing & Operations Head to take complete ownership of the Mumbai business.

This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for managing key client relationships, leading the servicing and operations function, overseeing project delivery, and ensuring that the Mumbai team consistently delivers high-quality, commercially viable projects.

Approximately 75% of the business is activation-led, with the balance comprising corporate events and other experiential projects. Therefore, strong experience in brand activations, BTL, experiential marketing and on-ground execution is essential.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Servicing & Relationship Management

Take senior-level ownership of key client accounts and relationships.
Act as the escalation point for important client requirements and issues.
Understand client marketing objectives and translate briefs into effective activation and experiential solutions.
Build strong, long-term relationships with Marketing Heads, Brand Managers, Trade Marketing teams, Corporate Communications and other key stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for repeat business, account growth and cross-selling.

2. Activation & Project Leadership

Lead the end-to-end servicing and execution of brand activation projects.
Oversee projects from brief receipt and planning through execution and closure.
Ensure that concepts are translated into practical, executable and commercially viable solutions.
Supervise multiple projects simultaneously across locations.
Personally oversee critical and high-value on-ground executions whenever required.
Ensure delivery within agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards.

3. Operations Leadership

Lead the Mumbai servicing and operations team.
Allocate resources and ensure accountability across projects.
Establish strong project management and execution processes.
Work closely with production, creative, vendors and finance teams.
Ensure timely resolution of operational challenges and client escalations.
Build a reliable vendor and execution ecosystem across fabrication, manpower, logistics, technology and other activation requirements.

4. Commercial & Financial Responsibility

Review project budgets, costing and commercials to ensure healthy margins.
Work closely with the management team on pricing and commercial negotiations.
Monitor project profitability and control unnecessary costs.
Ensure timely billing, documentation and project closure.
Take ownership of commercial outcomes for projects under the Mumbai operation.

5. Team Leadership

Lead, mentor and develop the Mumbai Client Servicing and Operations team.
Set clear performance expectations and ensure delivery accountability.
Build a culture of ownership, responsiveness and client-first thinking.
Identify gaps in team capability and recommend hiring or resource requirements.

6. Business Development Support

While this is primarily a Client Servicing & Operations leadership role, the candidate will be expected to actively contribute to business growth.
Leverage existing client relationships and industry network to identify new opportunities.
Participate in important pitches, credentials presentations and client meetings.
Work closely with the Business Development team to convert opportunities into executable projects.
Help strengthen Gloria World's presence within the Mumbai corporate and marketing ecosystem.

Ideal Candidate

8–12 years of relevant experience in Client Servicing, Operations, Experiential Marketing, Brand Activations, BTL or Corporate Events.
Strong experience in brand activations / experiential marketing, preferably with at least 5+ years in activation-led businesses.
Experience managing marquee corporate clients and multi-location campaigns.
Proven ability to independently manage large and complex projects from brief to execution.
Strong understanding of production, fabrication, manpower, logistics, permissions and on-ground execution.
Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
Strong commercial understanding, including costing, negotiation and project profitability.
Demonstrated team leadership experience.
Excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment with tight deadlines and demanding clients.
Willingness to travel as required for project execution.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate is not merely a senior account manager. We are looking for someone who can function as the owner of the Mumbai operation — someone who can independently handle clients, lead the servicing and operations teams, solve execution challenges, protect margins and ensure that every project is delivered to a high standard.

A candidate with a strong combination of Activation + Client Servicing + Operations leadership will be preferred over someone coming purely from corporate events.
