Full job description

About Us: Shell Design Works is a 3D rendering and architecture visualization studio based in Zirakpur, serving US-based clients. We produce construction drawings, execution details, and technical documentation alongside our rendering work, across residential, commercial, and healthcare projects.

What You'll Do:

Prepare execution and construction drawings (elevations, floor plans, sections, details) in AutoCAD
Work from design briefs and 3D references to produce accurate, dimensioned drawings
Cross-check drawings for accuracy before submission
Collaborate with the design and rendering teams on active projects
Maintain consistent formatting and drawing standards across projects

What We're Looking For:

1–3 years of experience in architectural/construction drafting
Strong AutoCAD skills; comfortable producing execution-level drawings (not just concept plans)
High attention to detail — accuracy matters more than speed in this role
Basic understanding of construction detailing (elevations, sections, dimensioning conventions)
Reliable, organized, and able to follow structured project workflows

Nice to Have:

Exposure to Revit
Experience working on projects for US-based clients

Are you familiar with reading dimension conventions and detailing for carpenter/execution drawings specifically?
Are you currently employed? If yes, what's your notice period?
This role is on-site in Zirakpur/Chandigarh — can you confirm you're able to commute or relocate?
