Position Overview
The Executive Assistant to Deepa Gurnani plays a pivotal role in providing high-level administrative, strategic, and operational support. This position ensures the smooth functioning of the executive office by managing communications, coordinating priorities, and supporting strategic initiatives with efficiency, discretion, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Executive Support
- Assist Deepa Gurnani in strategic initiatives, special projects, and key assignments
- Conduct research, collect data, and prepare reports, presentations, and analysis
- Support decision-making with insights on industry, market, and business trends
- Prepare presentations, documents, and briefing materials for internal and external use
Relationship & Communication Management
- Act as a liaison between the executive office and internal teams, clients, vendors, and external stakeholders
- Handle correspondence, inquiries, and communications professionally
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across all levels
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment and smooth execution of priorities
- Serve as the central point of contact between management and internal teams
- Assist in organizing workflows, meetings, and follow-ups
Leadership & Administrative Oversight
- Support and guide department heads as required
- Help prioritize matters requiring executive attention and delegate appropriately
- Ensure timely follow-ups and execution of action items
Process Improvement & Organization
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and circulate minutes and action points
- Support a solution-oriented and proactive work environment
Confidentiality & Discretion
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of integrity and discretion
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role supporting senior or C-level executives
- Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in MS Office and office productivity tools
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-management skills
- Professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (preferred)
