Client Servicing Manager – Branding & Creative Agency
Company: CoLab India
Location: Mumbai
Work mode: Full-time, on-site
Experience: 4-6 years
Compensation: ₹7,20,000–₹8,40,000 per annum, depending on relevant creative-agency experience, client-handling capability and project exposure.
Important
This role requires previous client-servicing or account-management experience within a branding agency, creative agency, advertising agency or design studio.
This is not a performance marketing, media buying, SEO, lead generation or social-media-only account-management role.
1. About CoLab India
CoLab India is a Mumbai-based branding and creative agency working with ambitious businesses to build distinctive brands and communication systems.
Our work spans brand strategy, positioning, identity design, campaign development, marketing collateral and brand implementation. We have particular experience working with real estate and other high-consideration categories.
We are looking for a senior client-servicing professional who can independently manage clients, lead branding and creative projects and bring structure to the relationship between clients and the creative team.
2. About the role
As Client Servicing Manager, you will own the day-to-day relationship for a portfolio of clients and manage branding and communication projects from brief to final delivery.
You will work closely with the agency founder, designers, video editor, client servicing team members and external production partners. Your responsibility will be to understand the client’s business objective, translate it into a clear creative brief and ensure that the work is delivered strategically, creatively and operationally.
The role requires more than project coordination. You should be able to understand branding, assess creative work, manage senior client conversations and protect the agency from unclear briefs, uncontrolled revisions and scope creep.
Real estate branding experience is strongly preferred. However, candidates from strong branding, advertising or design agencies will also be considered.
3. Projects you may work on
Depending on the client, your portfolio may include:
- Brand strategy and positioning
- Naming and verbal identity
- Visual identity development
- Brand guidelines
- Brand launch campaigns
- Real estate project branding
- Corporate and project brochures
- Sales presentations and pitch decks
- Outdoor and print campaigns
- Sales-gallery and environmental communication
- Digital brand assets
- Websites and landing pages
- Brand films and launch communication
- Ongoing brand implementation and marketing collateral
4. Key responsibilities
A. Client relationship management
- Act as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients.
- Build strong relationships with client marketing teams, business heads and senior decision-makers.
- Understand the client’s business, target audience, market context and commercial objectives.
- Set clear expectations regarding timelines, deliverables, feedback and approvals.
- Manage difficult conversations, conflicting feedback and client escalations calmly and professionally.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen and grow existing client relationships.
B. Briefing and strategic alignment
- Convert client discussions and business requirements into clear, actionable creative briefs.
- Ask the right questions before projects enter the creative process.
- Ensure that the creative team understands the business problem, audience, deliverables and desired outcome.
- Conduct or coordinate competitor, category and market research where required.
- Maintain alignment between the approved strategy, creative direction and final output.
C. Creative project management
- Manage branding and communication projects from initiation to final delivery.
- Develop project plans covering scope, milestones, dependencies, responsibilities and approval stages.
- Coordinate with inhouse and freelance designers, web developers, print production partners and other specialists.
- Track timelines, priorities, client inputs and internal dependencies across multiple projects.
- Review work internally before client presentations for completeness, accuracy, consistency and alignment with the brief.
- Ensure feedback is documented, interpreted correctly and consolidated before it reaches the creative team.
- Prevent last-minute surprises through disciplined communication and project tracking.
D. Presentations and creative evaluation
- Present strategies, creative concepts and recommendations confidently to clients.
- Explain the rationale behind the work rather than simply forwarding creative outputs.
- Evaluate whether proposed creative work addresses the approved brief and business objective.
- Help clients make decisions without allowing subjective or fragmented feedback to derail the project.
- Protect the quality and integrity of the agency’s work while remaining commercially practical.
E. Scope and commercial management
- Ensure that deliverables and revision limits are clearly understood.
- Identify additional requests that fall outside the agreed scope.
- Work with the founder to estimate timelines, resources and additional fees.
- Monitor account workload and flag risks to timelines, quality or profitability.
- Maintain organised documentation of approvals, deliverables, feedback and project status.
F. Team collaboration
- Work closely with CoLab’s founder and design creative team.
- Conduct structured internal briefings and project-status reviews.
- Support and guide junior client-servicing team members.
- Contribute to improving client-servicing systems, templates and processes.
- Support new-business pitches, proposals and client presentations when required.
5. Must-have experience

- At least five years of client-servicing, brand management or project-management experience within a branding, advertising, design or integrated creative agency.

- Experience converting client requirements into structured creative briefs.
- Managed multiple projects, stakeholders and approval processes simultaneously.
- Presented creative work or recommendations directly to clients.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to review work before it is presented.
- Experience handling client expectations, feedback, timelines and scope changes.
- A working understanding of print and digital brand communication.
6. Preferred experience
It would be an advantage if you have:
- Worked with real estate developers, property brands or real estate marketing teams.
- Managed real estate branding, project launches, brochures, outdoor campaigns, sales-gallery communication or channel-partner collateral.
- Worked on premium, luxury, hospitality, architecture or other high-consideration brands.
- Managed junior account executives or project coordinators.
- Experience with print production, artwork adaptation and vendor coordination.
- Experience using Google Workspace and project-management tools.

- Independently manage a defined portfolio of clients.
- Produce clear, actionable briefs for the creative team.
- Run projects with reliable timelines, documentation and follow-up.

- Work directly with the founders and contribute to strategic and creative discussions.
- Manage projects across strategy, identity, campaign development and brand implementation.
- Take meaningful ownership of client relationships and project outcomes.
- Work with premium and high-consideration brands, including real estate businesses.
