Position: System Administrator

Department: Information Technology (IT)

Location: Noida

Reporting To: CEO/MD

Job Summary

Sara Abode Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a competent and proactive System Administrator to manage, maintain, and support the organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, networks, servers, software applications, and security systems while providing technical support to employees across various departments.

Key Responsibilities

System Administration

· Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers and workstations.

· Monitor system performance and ensure optimal uptime and reliability.

· Perform regular system updates, patches, and maintenance activities.

· Manage Active Directory, user accounts, permissions, and access controls.

Network Management

· Configure and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, routers, switches, and firewalls.

· Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.

· Ensure network security and implement preventive measures against cyber threats.

IT Support

· Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to employees.

· Resolve hardware, software, printer, email, and network-related issues.

· Maintain IT asset inventory and track hardware/software usage.

Data Security & Backup

· Implement and monitor data backup and recovery procedures.

· Ensure compliance with information security policies and best practices.

· Monitor antivirus, endpoint security, and firewall systems.

Software & Application Management

· Install, configure, and maintain business applications and productivity tools.

· Coordinate with vendors for software licensing, renewals, and technical support.

· Support ERP, project management, and collaboration platforms used by the organization.

Documentation & Compliance

· Maintain records of system configurations, network diagrams, and IT procedures.

· Prepare periodic reports on system performance, incidents, and IT asset status.

· Ensure adherence to company IT policies and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent will be preferred.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in system administration and IT infrastructure management.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, and Microsoft environments.

Hands-on experience with networking concepts, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.

Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.

Experience in backup and disaster recovery management.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
