About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Construction Manager to oversee end-to-end execution of construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating with architects, structural engineers, contractors, labour teams, and vendors, while ensuring timely execution, quality control, procurement management, and smooth day-to-day functioning of projects.

The role requires strong leadership, multitasking ability, practical site knowledge, and excellent coordination skills.

Key ResponsibilitiesSite & Project Management

Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities from start to completion.
Ensure projects are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
Monitor daily site progress and maintain overall control of project execution.
Conduct regular site inspections and resolve execution-related issues promptly.
Ensure proper site discipline, safety standards, and operational efficiency.

Labour & Contractor Management

Manage labour teams, contractors, subcontractors, and supervisors on-site.
Ensure productivity and proper allocation of manpower.
Handle labour-related coordination, disputes, attendance, and work monitoring.
Ensure timely completion of work by contractors and vendors.

Vendor Coordination & Procurement

Coordinate with multiple vendors and suppliers for materials and services.
Handle procurement planning, rate negotiations, purchase coordination, and material management.
Ensure timely availability of construction materials and equipment at site.
Monitor inventory, material consumption, and wastage control.
Manage logistics and transportation related to site operations.

Coordination with Consultants

Work closely with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and other professionals.
Ensure execution is aligned with design intent and technical requirements.
Coordinate approvals, drawing revisions, and technical clarifications.
Keep consultants updated regarding project progress and site challenges.

Quality Control & Reporting

Ensure high construction quality standards are maintained throughout the project.
Check workmanship, materials, and finishing quality regularly.
Maintain project reports, site records, and progress updates for management.
Prepare BOQs, material estimations, and work schedules whenever required.

Marketing & Client Coordination

Coordinate with the marketing team regarding project updates, site visuals, and promotional requirements.
Assist in project presentation, branding, and showcasing ongoing developments.
Support management during client visits and project walkthroughs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Strong practical knowledge of construction execution and site operations.
Ability to manage multiple vendors, labour teams, and project activities simultaneously.
Good understanding of drawings, BOQs, material specifications, and construction methods.
Excellent negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and decision-making ability.
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD (basic understanding preferred), and project reporting.

Preferred Experience

4–10 years of experience in construction/project management.
Experience in residential, commercial, or real estate development projects preferred.
Experience handling end-to-end project execution independently will be an advantage.
