Job Summary:
The Facility Officer will be responsible for maintaining the overall administration, hygiene, housekeeping, and facility management of the manufacturing plant. The role includes supervision of pantry operations, upkeep of public/common areas, monitoring cleanliness standards, and ensuring compliance with statutory and mandatory display requirements within the plant premises.
Key Responsibilities:
Administration & Facility Management
- Oversee day-to-day facility and administrative activities within the manufacturing plant.
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of the pantry, washrooms, corridors, reception, meeting rooms, and other common/public areas.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff/vendors for smooth operations.
- Monitor availability of pantry supplies, cleaning materials, and other facility-related consumables.
- Coordinating and managing administrative support functions during audits, including ensuring availability of visitor gowns, arranging proper reception and hospitality for auditors, preparing conference rooms and meeting facilities, and ensuring smooth audit-related logistics and coordination.
- Ensure proper waste disposal and adherence to hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Raise and follow up on maintenance requests related to electrical, plumbing, furniture, and civil work issues.
Hygiene & Housekeeping
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the plant premises.
- Conduct routine inspections of manufacturing and common areas to identify hygiene concerns.
- Ensure pest control, sanitization, and housekeeping activities are carried out as per schedule.
- Coordinate corrective actions for any observed hygiene or facility-related non-compliance.
- Ensure all lab coats are washed regularly and maintain inventory. Ensure there are sufficient visitor gowns available at all times.
Compliance & Statutory Requirements
- Ensure all mandatory notices, statutory displays, safety instructions, and compliance boards are updated and displayed as per legal and company requirements.
- Assist in maintaining facility-related records, checklists, and inspection reports.
- Support audits and inspections related to housekeeping, facility management, safety, and compliance.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure adherence to plant hygiene and facility standards.
Vendor & Staff Coordination
- Supervise housekeeping, pantry, and support staff performance.
- Coordinate with external vendors for facility-related services.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned facility maintenance activities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Additional certification in facility management or administration will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 0-2 years of experience in facility management, administration, or plant housekeeping operations.
- Experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or industrial setup preferred.
Required Skills
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of statutory compliance and workplace hygiene standards.
- Strong observation and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage vendors and support staff efficiently.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic documentation.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
