Full job description

Project managerFor a performance marketing agency like Parrot Media, where the core delivery is Meta Ads + Google Ads, a Project Manager should primarily own client coordination, team accountability, timelines, reporting, and execution quality—while Media Buyers remain responsible for campaign strategy and optimization.

If you're defining the role, I’d structure it around these areas:

Client Management: Be the main point of contact, understand requirements, manage expectations, schedule reviews, and ensure clients receive timely updates.
Project & Task Management: Convert client requirements into tasks for Meta buyers, Google Ads specialists, designers, video editors, developers, etc. Set deadlines and follow up until completion.
Campaign Coordination: Ensure campaigns, offers, landing pages, tracking, creatives, budgets, and approvals are ready before launch. The PM doesn't necessarily optimize campaigns but ensures nothing blocks the media buyers.
Creative Coordination: Track which creatives are required based on media-buyer feedback, assign them to the creative team, get client approvals, and ensure fresh creatives are delivered continuously.
Performance Monitoring: Understand key metrics such as ROAS, CPA/CPP, CTR, CPM, CPC, conversion rate, revenue and spend. Flag underperformance and ensure the relevant specialist has an action plan.
Reporting: Ensure weekly/monthly reports are accurate and translate numbers into understandable client updates: what happened, why, what the team changed, and what's next.
Internal Accountability: Conduct daily/weekly follow-ups with account owners, identify delayed work, maintain task trackers, and escalate issues before they become client complaints.
Client Retention: Identify unhappy clients early, document concerns, coordinate corrective action, and ensure commitments made during meetings are actually delivered.
Meeting Management: Prepare agendas, collect account updates before meetings, document MOM/action items, assign owners and deadlines, and track closure.
Quality Control: Check that ads, copy, creatives, links, offers, budgets, UTMs, landing pages and reporting are correct before anything client-facing goes live.

For Parrot Media specifically, I would not make the Project Manager responsible for ROAS directly. Their KRA should be that the right people are taking the right actions on time. Media Buyers/Google Ads specialists should own performance; the PM should own delivery and accountability.

A good PM scorecard could be: 95%+ tasks delivered on time, 100% weekly client updates, MOM within 24 hours, zero missed client messages, campaign/creative delays below 5%, client issues acknowledged within 1 working hour, and monthly retention/churn tracking.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
