Job Description: Junior Accountant

Position: Junior Accountant
Industry: Manufacturing / LED Manufacturing
Location: Lumirise Pvt Ltd, Lakshmi Polavaram Vi, Ravulapalem Mandal, Konaseema Dist.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: ₹23,500 – ₹28,000 per month (Based on Experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant with a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, GST compliance, and financial record management. The ideal candidate should be proficient in GST return filing, Tally accounting software, bookkeeping, and preparation of monthly Profit & Loss statements. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting the finance department in daily accounting operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Bookkeeping

Record and maintain day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally ERP.
Prepare and verify journal entries, payment vouchers, receipts, and contra entries.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, sales, expenses, and bank transactions.
Perform ledger scrutiny and account reconciliations.

GST Compliance

Prepare and file GST returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and other applicable returns.
Reconcile GST input and output tax records.
Ensure compliance with GST regulations and statutory requirements.
Coordinate with auditors and consultants regarding GST-related matters.

Financial Reporting

Prepare Monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) Statements.
Assist in preparing Balance Sheets and financial reports.
Monitor expenses and provide periodic financial summaries to management.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

Bank & Reconciliation Activities

Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis.
Reconcile vendor and customer accounts.
Track outstanding receivables and payables.

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Assist during internal and external audits.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company records.

Qualifications

B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification.
Strong knowledge of GST regulations and accounting principles.
Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel.

Experience Required

Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounting and GST Compliance.
Hands-on experience in:
GST Return Filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)
Tally Entries and Accounting Operations
Monthly P&L Statement Preparation
Bank Reconciliation
Vendor and Customer Ledger Management

Salary Details

Salary: ₹23,500 – ₹28,000 per month
Salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.

Employment Agreement Terms

The selected candidate shall enter into a Service Agreement for a period of 2 years from the date of joining.
The employee shall submit one original educational certificate/document for verification and company record purposes at the time of joining.
The original certificate shall be retained by the company during the service period and will be returned upon completion of the employee's exit formalities.
The employee shall serve a mandatory notice period of 3 months before resignation or separation from the company.
Upon successful completion of the notice period, proper handover of responsibilities, and clearance of company dues/assets, the original certificate will be returned to the employee.
The employee shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding company financial records, customer information, business operations, and any proprietary information during and after employment.
Any breach of company policies, confidentiality obligations, or agreement terms may result in disciplinary action as per company rules and applicable laws.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience in manufacturing industry accounting will be an added advantage.
Ability to work independently and meet statutory deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good organizational and record-keeping abilities.

Pay: ₹23,500.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
