We are a growing car rental company looking to dominate our local market and capture travelers right when they are looking for a ride. To do that, we need to be visible everywhere—not just on standard Google search results, but also inside AI chat engines, voice assistants, and local map packs.

We are looking for a sharp, forward-thinking freelance specialist who understands traditional search and the future of AI-driven discovery.

Scope of Work & Responsibilities

Your main goal is to drive qualified booking traffic to our website and phone lines through four critical pillars:

1. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Optimize our website for high-intent local keywords (e.g., "car rental near me", "car rental Chandigarh", "Self drive car in Chandigarh").
Improve on-page SEO (landing pages, fleet pages, booking funnel) and technical health (site speed, mobile optimization).
Execute a local link-building strategy to build domain authority.

2. Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)

Structure our content to answer direct user queries on voice assistants (Siri, Alexa, Google Assistant).
Optimize for Featured Snippets, People Also Ask (PAA) boxes, and zero-click searches.
Implement clean Schema markup (LocalBusiness, Car, Product) so search engines can easily parse our fleet availability and pricing.

3. Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)

Optimize our digital footprint so our brand is recommended by AI search engines like ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Perplexity when users ask things like, "What is the best car rental company near [Airport] with good reviews?"
Focus on brand citations, sentiment optimization, and inclusion in authoritative local directories and travel blogs that AI engines use as training data.

4. Google My Business / Google Business Profile (GMB/GBP)

Fully optimize and manage our GMB profile(s) to dominate the local 3-Pack.
Implement strategies to consistently gather, manage, and respond to 5-star customer reviews.
Optimize local map rankings using geo-targeted posts, photos of the fleet, and accurate product listings.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Proven track record of handling SEO specifically for local service businesses or travel/rental industries.
AI-Era Savvy: You don't just look at keywords; you understand how LLMs (Large Language Models) pull information and how to optimize for them (GEO/AEO).
Local Specialist: Deep knowledge of Google Maps ranking factors, local citation building, and review generation strategies.
Tools: Expert proficiency with tools like Google Analytics, GSC, Semrush/Ahrefs, and local tracking software (e.g., BrightLocal, Whitespark).
Analytical: Ability to provide clear monthly reports showing ranking improvements, AI visibility, and—most importantly—leads/bookings generated.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
