US Tax Manager & Executive – Partnership Tax Specialist (Contract Role)

Location: Remote (US Shift)
Duration: 3 Months Contract
Shift Timing: US Shift
Joining: Immediate Joiners Preferred

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Tax Manager & Executive– Partnership Tax Specialist to join our team for a critical client engagement. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in partnership taxation, large-scale project management, and client handling within a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should be comfortable working in the US shift and managing multiple tax workstreams with tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Manage complex partnership tax engagements from initiation through filing
Prepare and review Form 1065 and K-1 packages
Handle partnership allocations, basis tracking, and 704(b)/(c) calculations
Manage multi-entity and VC-backed partnership structures
Coordinate and lead tax projects with multiple stakeholders
Review deliverables and ensure high-quality client service
Support tax planning, compliance, and advisory functions
Communicate directly with clients and internal teams

Required Skills & Experience

CPA qualification is mandatory
6–10+ years of experience in Taxation with strong focus on Partnership Tax
Strong hands-on experience with:
Form 1065
K-1 preparation & review
704(b)/(c) allocations
Partnership taxation
Basis calculations
Experience handling complex tax engagements and multiple workstreams
Strong communication and client management skills
Prior experience with VC-backed/startup clients is preferred
Must be available to work in US Shift
Immediate availability preferred

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s in Taxation (MST) or LLM in Taxation preferred
Public accounting background preferred
Experience in remote client-facing environments
