Job Summary

The future is bright for the Porch Group, and we’d love for you to be a part of it as our Senior Technical Program Manager.

In this role, you will lead complex, cross‑functional technical programs that support Porch’s Insurance initiatives, with a strong focus on home insurance platforms and workflows. You will partner closely with engineering, product, design, and business stakeholders to drive programs from planning through execution. This position plays a critical role in delivering scalable, compliant, and high‑quality technical solutions aligned with Porch’s business strategy and growth in the insurance domain.

What You Will Do As A Senior Technical Program Manager

Lead strategic program planning for technical insurance initiatives, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics
Develop and maintain program roadmaps aligned with business strategy and insurance product goals
Facilitate collaboration across engineering, product, design, underwriting, claims, and support teams to ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables
Apply strong technical judgment to guide architecture discussions, technical decision‑making, and complex problem‑solving
Identify program risks and dependencies early and implement mitigation and corrective action plans
Serve as the primary point of contact for program status, updates, escalations, and change management
Drive transparency and accountability across all workstreams through regular reporting and leadership updates
Partner with engineering leaders to scope work, define dependencies, and manage resource allocation
Ensure program deliverables meet business, technical, regulatory, and compliance standards
Oversee testing, validation, documentation, and release readiness activities
Understand system architecture and data flows to anticipate and resolve integration challenges
Apply home insurance domain knowledge, including policy administration systems and regulatory requirements, to guide program decisions
Monitor KPIs and program metrics, conduct post‑mortems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Will Bring As A Senior Technical Program Manager

10+ years of experience in technical program management, including at least 4 years in the insurance domain
Strong understanding of home insurance systems, workflows, and regulatory considerations
Proven experience leading cross‑functional teams and delivering complex technical programs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize technical and business information for diverse audiences
Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills with the ability to manage ambiguity
Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence
Proven experience working with US based business teams
Excellent written and communication skills in English language.
Working Hours: 8 Hours (Excluding breaks)

4 Core US Hours Overlap (7:30pm–11:30pm IST)

4 flexible hours (IST)

Workspace: A quiet space to work, an internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download | 10 Mbps upload.
