Job Description – Junior MIS Executive

Department: Store & Logistics / DispatchDesignation: Junior MIS ExecutiveLocation: GhaziabadExperience: 1–2 YearsQualification: Bachelor's Degree in Any Discipline

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Junior MIS Executive to support our Store, Logistics, and Dispatch operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate operational data, preparing daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports, monitoring inventory records, supporting stock reconciliation, and assisting in dashboard preparation.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics and dispatch processes, along with strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities1. MIS & Reporting

Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly MIS reports for Store, Logistics, and Dispatch operations.
Maintain and update accurate inventory and logistics databases.
Prepare management reports and KPI dashboards.
Ensure timely submission of MIS reports to relevant stakeholders.
Monitor data accuracy and identify discrepancies in operational reports.
Maintain proper records and documentation of MIS reports.

2. Inventory & Store Management

Reconcile physical stock with system stock on a regular basis.
Monitor Finished Goods (FG), Raw Material (RM), Scrap, and Transit Inventory.
Identify stock variances and coordinate with warehouse teams for resolution.
Verify inward, outward, stock transfer, and related inventory transactions.
Maintain accurate records of stock movements.
Support month-end inventory reconciliation and closing activities.

3. Logistics & Dispatch Reporting

Maintain dispatch, delivery, transporter, and freight records.
Prepare warehouse-wise, route-wise, and transporter-wise reports.
Track pending shipments and transit inventory.
Analyze dispatch performance and delivery timelines.
Monitor shipment status and follow up on delayed or pending deliveries.
Prepare regular reports related to logistics and dispatch performance.

4. Coordination

Coordinate with Warehouse, Logistics, Finance, Operations, and other relevant departments.
Follow up with respective teams for pending data and updates.
Ensure timely collection and consolidation of operational data.
Support management with accurate and timely information for decision-making.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Advanced Excel.
Working knowledge of:
Pivot Tables
XLOOKUP / VLOOKUP
INDEX-MATCH
SUMIFS / COUNTIFS
IF functions
TEXT functions
Knowledge of Data Validation, Conditional Formatting, Charts, and Dashboards.
Good understanding of inventory, warehouse, logistics, and dispatch operations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple reports and deadlines effectively.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Accuracy of MIS reports and operational data.
Timely submission of Daily, Weekly, and Monthly reports.
Inventory reconciliation accuracy.
Data validation and reporting quality.
Timely dashboard updates.
Reduction in reporting and data-entry errors.
Effective support during month-end inventory reconciliation and closing.

Preferred Candidate Profile

1–2 years of relevant experience in MIS, Store, Warehouse, Logistics, Dispatch, or Inventory operations.
Candidates with experience in manufacturing, battery, automotive, or similar industries will be preferred.
Strong Excel and data-management skills are essential.
Should be comfortable working with multiple departments and operational teams.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
