About the role
We are seeking a visionary and execution-focused Chief Technology Officer to lead Nomni's global technology organization through its next phase of growth.
As CTO, you will define and execute the technology strategy that powers one of the world's most comprehensive hospitality platforms. You will oversee engineering, architecture, AI, data, infrastructure, security, and platform operations while partnering closely with Product, Commercial, Operations, and Customer Success teams.
This role requires a leader who can balance long-term platform vision with world-class execution, scale high-performing engineering teams globally, and leverage AI to transform both our products and the way we build them.

Define and execute Nomni's long-term technology roadmap aligned with company objectives.

Evaluate emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and market opportunities to maintain Nomni's leadership position.

Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team.

Lead and scale a global engineering organization across multiple regions and time zones.

Establish high-performance engineering culture, processes, and delivery frameworks.

Drive engineering excellence through modern software development practices, observability, automation, and operational discipline.

Build succession plans and leadership capability across Engineering, Platform, Data, and AI teams.

Champion Nomni's AI-first culture and embed AI into both customer-facing products and internal operations.

Develop strategies that leverage data and machine learning to create competitive advantage.

Ensure responsible AI governance, security, and compliance standards.

Drive innovation in predictive analytics, automation, personalization, and operational intelligence.

Own enterprise architecture and technical standards across the business.

Lead modernization and scalability initiatives across cloud infrastructure and platform services.

Ensure systems can support rapid growth, global expansion, and increasing transaction volumes.

Oversee integration strategy across POS, payments, loyalty, ordering, CRM, and partner ecosystems.

Maintain world-class security, privacy, compliance, and risk management standards.

Establish robust governance around platform reliability, availability, and disaster recovery.

Partner with Legal, Operations, and Product teams on regulatory and compliance initiatives.

Collaborate closely with Product leadership to align technology investments with customer outcomes.

Partner with Commercial teams to support enterprise opportunities and strategic partnerships.

Represent Nomni externally with customers, investors, partners, and industry stakeholders.

Contribute to company-wide strategic planning and organizational development.

Qualifications

15+ years of software engineering and technology leadership experience.

Proven experience leading large-scale SaaS, platform, fintech, marketplace, or enterprise software organizations.

Experience serving as CTO, VP Engineering, Chief Architect, or equivalent executive technology leader.

Track record scaling engineering organizations through periods of rapid growth.

Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, APIs, and modern software platforms.

Experience managing globally distributed teams.

Experience in hospitality technology, including POS, ordering, loyalty, reservations, guest engagement, or venue operations platforms.

Experience in food-tech environments with high transaction volumes, multi-location operations, and consumer-facing digital products.

Deep understanding of payments technology, including payment orchestration, acquiring, gateways, embedded payments, digital wallets, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance.

Experience building or scaling platforms that combine commerce, payments, customer data, and loyalty ecosystems.
