Full job description

Grand International School is a new English-medium institution committed to providing a safe, disciplined, and nurturing environment where students can grow academically and personally. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and proactive individual to become the first point of contact for parents, students, and visitors.

As a newly established school, we are looking for someone who is willing to grow with us. The ideal candidate should be adaptable, take initiative, and be comfortable assisting with a variety of administrative responsibilities beyond traditional reception duties.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist parents, students, and visitors professionally.
Answer phone calls and respond to enquiries.
Manage the reception desk and visitor records.
Handle admissions enquiries and guide prospective parents.
Maintain student records and office documentation.
Draft letters, notices, and basic reports.
Coordinate appointments and meetings.
Assist with admissions, fee-related documentation, and school events.
Maintain office supplies and ensure the reception area remains presentable.
Provide administrative support to the Principal and management.
Coordinate with teachers and support staff whenever required.
Perform additional administrative duties as assigned in support of the school's day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred.
Excellent communication skills in English and Bengali. Hindi is an added advantage.
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email.
Professional appearance and courteous behaviour.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Prior experience in a school or office environment is preferred but not mandatory.
