The Senior Specialist in this role will provide HR support to Linde IT Kolkata Hub and carrying out the key operational activities and performing HR-related control and governance responsibilities across the Center in a fair and consistent manner in association with the HR Partner.

Making an impact. What will you do?
You will execute routine HR activities independently within SLAs and provide timely support and ensure adherence to HR policies, processes, timelines, and SLAs across the Center
You will handle confirmation, probation, and extension processes, as well you will address employee queries, concerns, handling conflicts and providing HR guidance as needed
Further, you will be coordinating and working on various topics, addressing issues, handling queries, gathering information with Functional Managers and Global HR colleagues across the globe
Additionally, Support Change Management initiatives by offering process-aligned HR inputs and highlighting risks based on documented practices
In this role, you will review and update HR policies as per company directives and conduct periodic reviews of Associates and Associates converted to FTE’s
You will manage internal and external audits by ensuring data readiness and compliance, as well to support Statutory Compliance related HR activities as required of the Team periodically
You will be responsible for end‑to‑end recruitment processes within defined timelines and conduct initial HR screening and coordinate interviews with agencies, candidates, and interview panels; prepare compensation fitment and secure approvals
Ensure closure to secure the onboarding of offered candidates is part of your role and to handle pre‑joining and post‑joining formalities and deliver HR onboarding activities
Moreover, maintain recruitment records, trackers, documentation, and recruitment tools—including request creation, status updates, feedback entry, report downloads, and job postings on LinkedIn and other portals—to support efficient and compliant hiring practices
Also, run induction programs for all new joiners, including HR induction for FTEs and Associates
Further, you will maintain accurate employee data for annual processes such as normalization and salary reviews
Ensure timely documentation of KPIs, IDPs, performance forms, and letters in the SAPHRON tool
Supporting and documenting Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) for underperforming employees
Also, Escalate performance-related issues to the HR Manager when required
Coordinate and deliver training requirements, manage logistics, and prepare the annual Training Calendar based on IDPs and management inputs
You will organize Business Awareness Plant Visits and drive completion of training programs by collaborating with capable vendors, enhancing behavioral and global-driven trainings
And collect and analyze training feedback to support assessment and to coordinate the end‑to‑end employee exit process in the tool
Manage Full & Final Settlements for exited employees within defined SLAs, and you will process gratuity payouts for eligible cases
Conduct exit interviews and share outcomes with the HR Manager for approval
And oversee enhancement, development, and maintenance of the HRMS portal in coordination with the local tools support team
Also, you will maintain and update employee data in SAPHRON based on approved documents
Lastly, manage enhancement and maintenance of the Leave & Attendance system with the tools support team
Winning in your role. Do you have what it takes?
You must have Bachelor / Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
Professional certifications in Human Resources would be an added advantag
Must have generalist hands-on HR experience, with proven track record of achievement & delivery of HR activities
You should also have overall more than five (5+) years of relevant experience in IT or IT related industry preferable. Experience of working in a medium/large-sized organisation
And strong analytical & thinking skills, as well as an understanding of employment legislation & HR policies in India
You should be skilled at dealing with diverse employee groups
You must have effective relationship-building & networking skills
And strong communications skills – both verbal & written
