Skills and Competencies

Strong understanding of Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, allocations, and period-end close
Solid knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS with the ability to apply standards to moderately complex transactions
Experience performing subledger reconciliations across payroll, leases, debt, derivatives, AP, and AR with accuracy and timeliness
Strong analytical skills, including variance analysis, root-cause identification, and corrective action recommendations
Experience supporting internal and external audits and maintaining audit-ready documentation and controls
Proficiency with SAP, BlackLine, and advanced Excel
Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve efficiency, with growing awareness of AI risk management and responsible use

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant executes core Record-to-Report activities to support accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across global operations.

Prepare and review routine to moderately complex journal entries in line with policies, close timelines, and documentation standards
Perform severance, restructuring, and consolidated variance analysis, including journals, reconciliations, accruals, and FP&A support
Provide oversight of statements of work, disclosures, roll-forwards, variance analysis, and escalation of judgment-based issues
Execute corporate and other allocations, including input validation, posting, and reconciliation
Perform subledger reconciliations across payroll, leases, debt, derivatives, AP, and AR, resolving variances promptly
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close through adjustments, reconciliations, schedules, and documentation
Prepare and review payroll, lease, debt, and derivatives accounting entries, including accruals and timing adjustments
Assist with internal and external audits, internal controls, and stakeholder inquiries and help in Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready documentation
Contribute to process improvements focused on standardization, efficiency, and best practices

About the Team

The Record-to-Report Accounting team maintains general ledger integrity and supports accurate financial reporting across global entities. The team partners closely with Finance, FP&A, and shared services to execute close activities, uphold strong internal controls, and drive continuous process improvement within a global operating model.
