About the Company
We are a rapidly growing pharmaceutical manufacturing organization that has recently embarked on its ERPNext transformation journey. ERPNext has been implemented across our core business functions, and we are now looking for an experienced ERPNext professional who can take complete ownership of the platform.
This role is ideal for someone who has successfully implemented and managed ERPNext in manufacturing environments and is passionate about improving business processes through technology.
The selected candidate will serve as the organization's ERPNext Subject Matter Expert (SME), ensuring system stability, continuous improvement, business process optimization, and user adoption.
Position Overview
The Senior ERPNext Consultant will be responsible for the complete lifecycle management of the ERPNext ecosystem. This includes understanding business requirements, configuring modules, developing customizations, integrating third-party applications, troubleshooting production issues, supporting end users, and driving continuous improvements.
The candidate should possess both strong functional knowledge and technical expertise in ERPNext and the Frappe Framework, with the ability to bridge business and technology effectively.
This position requires someone who is proactive, solution-oriented, capable of independently handling ERPNext responsibilities, and comfortable interacting with senior management and business users.
Key Responsibilities
1. ERP Ownership & Governance
- Act as the single point of ownership for the ERPNext platform.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the ERP system.
- Maintain high system availability, reliability, and performance.
- Define ERP governance, best practices, and change management processes.
- Plan ERP roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure proper system documentation and knowledge management.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for ERP-related initiatives.
2. Business Process Analysis
- Understand existing business processes across departments.
- Conduct workshops with stakeholders to gather business requirements.
- Perform fit-gap analysis between ERPNext capabilities and business needs.
- Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- Drive ERP adoption by promoting best practices.

9. Continuous Improvement

Pharmaceutical Domain Experience (Highly Preferred)
Candidates with prior experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or regulated industries will be preferred.

Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years of ERPNext implementation and support experience.
- Successfully completed multiple ERPNext implementations from requirement gathering to post-go-live support.
- Strong experience in manufacturing ERP implementations.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, FMCG, or process manufacturing industries is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with ERPNext customization and Frappe development.
- Strong understanding of business process mapping and workflow design.
- Experience in data migration, master data management, and ERP integrations.
- Ability to independently handle ERP projects, production support, and stakeholder communication.
