HR Manager – Talent Acquisition & People Operations (Remote)

About Edutinker

Edutinker is a fast-growing EdTech SaaS company transforming the way schools, colleges, universities, and educational institutions operate through a comprehensive ERP and Learning Management System (LMS). We partner with educational institutions across India to simplify admissions, fee management, academics, communication, and administration through technology.

We are a remote-first, fast-paced organization focused on building exceptional products and an even better team. As we continue to scale across sales, implementation, customer success, and technology, we are looking for an HR professional who can build, hire, and strengthen our people function.

This is a builder-operator role, not a coordinator role. You will own hiring for business-critical positions while managing end-to-end people operations and helping create a high-performance culture.

1. Talent Acquisition & Hiring

Own end-to-end recruitment for Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, Support, Marketing, and Technology roles.
Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle—from requirement gathering and sourcing to interviews, offer rollout, and onboarding.
Source candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, Naukri, referrals, and other hiring platforms.
Conduct structured HR interviews and coordinate technical and management interview rounds.
Ensure every candidate is evaluated against predefined scorecards and hiring criteria.
Maintain job descriptions, interview scorecards, recruitment trackers, and hiring SOPs.
Track recruitment KPIs including time-to-hire, source effectiveness, offer acceptance ratio, and early attrition.

2. People Operations

Own the complete employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit.
Manage offer letters, appointment letters, confirmations, salary revisions, promotions, experience letters, relieving letters, and F&F documentation.
Handle attendance, leave management, payroll inputs, employee records, HRMS administration, and statutory documentation.
Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries while maintaining confidentiality.
Coordinate onboarding to ensure every new employee has a smooth and productive joining experience.

3. Performance Management & Employee Engagement

Drive goal setting, probation reviews, performance evaluations, and appraisal processes.
Work closely with department heads to monitor employee performance and development.
Support compensation reviews using performance data and business requirements.
Plan employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, virtual activities, and team events.
Build HR processes that improve employee experience and retention.

4. HR Compliance & Administration

Ensure compliance with Indian labour laws and company policies.
Manage employment contracts, confidentiality agreements, HR policies, warning letters, disciplinary actions, and exit documentation.
Maintain accurate employee records and documentation for internal and statutory requirements.

What We're Looking ForMust Have

3+ years of experience in Human Resources with strong Talent Acquisition ownership.
Experience hiring Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, Technical, or Support roles.
Hands-on experience managing onboarding, payroll coordination, employee lifecycle, and HR operations.
Knowledge of Indian labour laws, PF, ESIC, payroll, and statutory compliance.
Strong experience with ATS, LinkedIn, Indeed, Naukri, Google Workspace, and HRMS platforms.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote work environment.
Strong reporting and analytical skills with recruitment and HR metrics.

Preferred

Experience in an EdTech, SaaS, ERP, or Technology company.
Experience hiring remote teams across India.
Experience building HR policies, SOPs, and recruitment frameworks.
Familiarity with GreytHR or similar HRMS platforms.

Experience

Human Resources: Minimum 3 years (Preferred)
Experience in Recruitment & HR Operations: Required
