Job Description:
Lead the digital transformation and product lifecycle management (PLM) initiatives by designing, customizing, and enhancing enterprise solutions using Windchill, ThingWorx, Kepware, and related PTC technologies. This role offers the opportunity to drive automation, business process improvements, system integrations, and modernization initiatives while serving as a technical leader for PLM platforms in an industrial environment.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Develop, customize, and implement scalable PLM and digitalization solutions using Windchill, ThingWorx, and other PTC products.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Lead advanced Windchill customization, configuration, integration, and de-customization initiatives to improve system performance and maintainability.
- Drive business process improvements through automation, predictive analysis, and digital transformation projects.
- Manage integrations with enterprise applications, including Innoface and Granta.
- Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, issue resolution, and configuration-based fixes to ensure system reliability.
- Oversee build management, code maintenance, code reviews, and adherence to development best practices.
- Ensure software solutions are secure, scalable, high performing, and aligned with business objectives.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to team members while fostering continuous improvement and innovation.
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering, Information Systems, or a related field with 8-11 years of relevant experience .
- Expert-level experience in Windchill PLM customization, configuration, and API development .
- Strong knowledge of PTC products , including ThingWorx, Windchill, and Kepware.
- Hands-on expertise in Java, JavaScript, AJAX, JSP, PLSQL, SOAP, Info Engine, Linux Shell Scripting , and related technologies.
- Good understanding of PLM concepts, business processes, and enterprise system integrations.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or similar technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in issue analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause identification.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global and multicultural teams.
- Proven capability to work independently while leading technical initiatives and supporting team success.
