Full job description

Experience Required: 3+ years in digital marketing, including proven experience working within or developing a digital marketing agency

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and versatile Digital Marketing Manager who understands how a digital marketing agency operates.

The ideal candidate must have previous agency experience and should be comfortable managing multiple clients, campaigns, platforms, deadlines, and internal teams. This is not a role limited to managing one company’s social media account. We need an all-round digital marketer who can understand a client’s business, develop strategies, coordinate execution, communicate with clients, and take responsibility for results.

Experience working in, managing, or helping develop a digital marketing agency is the most important requirement for this position.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute digital marketing strategies for multiple clients.
Manage social media accounts across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant channels.
Plan monthly content calendars, campaigns, promotions, and brand communication.
Coordinate with graphic designers, video editors, content writers, web developers, and advertising teams.
Manage Meta Ads, Google Ads, lead-generation campaigns, and remarketing campaigns.
Monitor campaign performance, lead quality, conversion rates, and return on advertising spend.
Prepare reports and explain campaign performance to clients in a clear and professional manner.
Conduct competitor research, audience research, keyword research, and market analysis.
Understand website development projects and coordinate landing pages, business websites, e-commerce websites, and website updates.
Work with developers to ensure websites are properly structured, mobile-friendly, conversion-focused, and SEO-ready.
Manage client onboarding, requirement collection, approvals, feedback, and regular communication.
Attend client meetings and confidently present strategies, reports, recommendations, and campaign plans.
Handle multiple client accounts while maintaining timelines and quality standards.
Identify opportunities to upsell relevant services based on client requirements.
Help improve agency processes, workflows, service delivery, documentation, and team coordination.
Support the growth and development of the agency by introducing better systems, tools, strategies, and service offerings.
Stay updated with digital marketing trends, platform changes, advertising policies, AI tools, and automation opportunities.

Mandatory Requirements

Previous experience working in a digital marketing, advertising, branding, creative, or social media agency.
Strong understanding of how agencies manage clients, deliverables, timelines, approvals, and reporting.
Experience managing multiple clients or brands simultaneously.
Practical knowledge of social media marketing, content planning, paid advertising, SEO, lead generation, and website projects.
Experience communicating directly with clients and handling client expectations.
Ability to create strategies and also coordinate their execution.
Strong project management, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently and take complete ownership of assigned accounts.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads.
Knowledge of WordPress, Shopify, landing-page development, or similar website platforms.
Understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and reporting tools.
Experience using tools such as Canva, CRM platforms, project-management software, email marketing tools, and marketing automation platforms.
Experience managing or mentoring designers, editors, marketers, and freelancers.
Knowledge of AI tools for marketing, content development, research, and automation.
Experience helping an agency improve its operations, acquire clients, build service packages, or expand its offerings.

Who Should Apply

This role is suitable for someone who has worked inside an agency and understands the realities of agency work, including multiple clients, frequent communication, changing priorities, tight deadlines, performance expectations, and team coordination.

Candidates with only in-house social media experience and no agency experience may not be suitable for this position.

The selected candidate should be capable of managing the complete digital marketing journey, from understanding the client’s business to planning campaigns, coordinating teams, reviewing performance, and presenting results.
