Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented SAP/Sage Accounts Production Executive to manage financial accounting, statutory reporting, and month-end/year-end closing activities. The ideal candidate will have experience using SAP and/or Sage accounting software to maintain accurate financial records and support business reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate accounting records.
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
Process journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
Prepare bank, customer, and vendor reconciliations.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Generate financial reports using SAP and/or Sage.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Support internal and external audits.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues.
Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
Ensure timely statutory and tax-related reporting.

Required Skills

Proficiency in SAP FI/CO and/or Sage Accounting.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience with general ledger, AP, AR, bank reconciliation, and financial close.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or CA are an advantage.
2–5+ years of experience in financial accounting using SAP and/or Sage.

Preferred Experience

Experience in manufacturing, retail, or shared services environments.
Knowledge of VAT/GST, statutory compliance, and audit processes.
Familiarity with ERP implementation or migration projects is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹41,735.10 per month
