Job Description – Academic Program Manager

Salary: ₹35,000–₹40,000 per month (Based on Experience)

The Medicity Research Institute Pvt. Ltd. is one of India's leading medical education and surgical training institutes, with advanced training centres in Gurugram and the UAE. We collaborate with nationally and internationally renowned faculty to deliver fellowship programs, hands-on workshops, and advanced clinical training for healthcare professionals across multiple specialties.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and result-oriented Academic Program Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and successful execution of academic and clinical training programs. The ideal candidate should possess excellent leadership, communication, and operational management skills to ensure seamless programme delivery, effective faculty coordination, and an outstanding learning experience for participants.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and oversee fellowship programs, workshops, CMEs, and academic training activities.
Develop and manage training schedules in coordination with faculty, hospitals, and participants.
Coordinate with doctors, faculty members, hospital teams, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth programme execution.
Monitor day-to-day academic operations and maintain high standards of programme delivery.
Manage faculty travel, accommodation, airport transfers, and participant hostel arrangements.
Coordinate visa documentation and travel support for international faculty and participants.
Handle participant concerns, operational challenges, and escalations promptly and professionally.
Maintain accurate programme documentation, attendance records, certifications, reports, and feedback.
Support the planning and execution of conferences, workshops, and academic events.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
Ensure timely communication with all stakeholders before, during, and after each programme.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver an exceptional participant experience.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
5-7 years of experience in academic operations, programme management, training coordination, or healthcare education.
Experience in the medical education or healthcare industry will be an added advantage.

Required Skills

Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage escalations and resolve conflicts effectively.
Strong planning, organizational, and multitasking capabilities.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
High attention to detail and documentation management.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to manage multiple training programmes simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
