Job Description – Office Assistant / Office Boy

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible, reliable, and hardworking Office Assistant / Office Boy to support the smooth day-to-day operations of the office. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining office cleanliness, assisting with pantry and refreshments, handling materials and packages, and supporting employees with routine office and administrative requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Office Maintenance & Cleanliness

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the office premises.
Keep common areas, meeting rooms, and pantry areas clean and organized.
Report any maintenance or repair requirements to the person concerned.
Serve tea, coffee, and refreshments to Client and Visitors.
Maintain adequate stock of pantry supplies.
Keep the pantry and refreshment area clean and hygienic.

3. Material Handling & Packing

Pack materials properly and prepare packages for dispatch.
Assist with loading and unloading materials whenever required.
Move and arrange office materials, equipment, and supplies.
Maintain proper storage and organization of materials.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
Support warehouse inspections and quality checks.
Learn and assist in the manufacturing/assembly of products (training will be provided).

4. Administrative & General Support

Assist employees with routine office-related requirements.
Support document movement, photocopying, scanning, printing, and filing when required.
Assist in preparing meeting rooms and arranging necessary materials for meetings.
Support other administrative activities as assigned.
Prepare reports using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, inward and outward material movements.
Organize, file, and maintain physical and electronic records in a systematic manner.
Maintain proper filing and documentation.
Monitor office and pantry supplies and inform the admin team when replenishment is required.
Assist in coordinating vendor visits, maintenance activities, and office housekeeping requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of office common areas, warehouse office, and pantry.
Support day-to-day office administrative activities.
Perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

Basic understanding of office support and housekeeping activities.
Good attitude and willingness to assist employees and visitors.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as packing, lifting, and loading/unloading.
Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned work on time.
Previous experience in a similar Office Boy / Office Assistant / Office Support role will be an advantage.
Punctual with excellent attendance and hardworking.
Comfortable working in both office and warehouse environments.
Basic knowledge of computers
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
