Full job description

Key Responsibilities

Administrative

· Manage and monitor activities of all employees in the Front Office, Billing, Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance department, making sure that they adhere to the standards of excellence and to the guidelines set in the hospital policies and procedures, coaching, training and correcting where ever needed.

· To maintain the team, ensuring that skills and standards are trained, demonstrated and maintained throughout the team.

· Take a complete facility round every day.

· Conduct Briefing for all staff during Night Shift (HK, F&B, Attendants, Maintenance, and Security, billing, pharmacy and Front office).

· Inform all Overnight staff of night activities, new patients and VIP patient’s arrivals

· Maintain a professional and high quality service oriented environment at all times in the hospital.

· Accompanying seniors/authority on daily hospital rounds.

· To ensure that patient needs are anticipated and all requests are attended.

· Handle, Follow up and communicate any comments or complaints. Pass on to relevant HODs or manager if unable to handle.

· Ensuring public areas, patient care areas are kept clean and tidy.

· Coordinate with nursing in-charge and doctors to manage the daily operation or the assigned service area to ensure its smooth running daily.

· Monitoring and checking the line of work for doctors and nursing staff.

· Any material / Equipment movement from or in the hospital should be routed through MOD, with his signature on gate pass in absence of unit head.

· Responsible for managing and transferring equipments across units.

· Coordinating for the pickups and drops of international patients.

· Making HR department aware about any disciplinary action in the hospital.

· Escalating any serious issue to the management.

· Ensure hospital HR policies and procedures are developed and implemented within good practice standards.

· Clinical MOD should also Co- ordinate for timely treatment of Patient in Co- ordinate MO & Consultant.

· Expect and efficient use of hospital beds and other resources.

· To check resided entries in hospital during night hours.

· Resolving patient queries relating to the billing summary.

· Tracking of miscellaneous expenses in the hospital.

· Assuring fumigation of all rooms.

· Assuring and coordinating in all CSSD activities.

· Taking proper consent from management in case of any admission without prior advance payment.

Data Maintenance

· Ensuring accurate completion of the daily night report in a timely manner.

· Ensure & report the unnecessary use of water or Electricity in the premises.

· Oversee preparation of daily summary reports.

· Report any suspicious persons, activities and/or hazardous conditions to the Security department.

· Provide observation report to Unit Operations Head/CAO/COO on a daily basis

· Perform security audits.

· Informing the management about the hospital occurrences during patient and after patient stay.

Safety Measures

· Awareness about all fire-life-safety procedures.

· Identify acutely ill patients and facilitate early medical intervention using the ALERT system in coordination with clinical team.

· Report any suspicious persons, activities and/or hazardous conditions to the Security department.

Training

· Participate in the teaching and assessing of clinical skills and competencies of ward nursing staff and support staff.

· Should keep them updated for scope of services of hospital.

· Participate in the teaching and assessing of clinical skills and competencies of ward nursing staff and supports staff.

Audit

· Checking between the manual forms and system inputs.

· Checking of MRD files.

· Performing the necessary audits as and when required.

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
