As we continue to expand our global footprint, we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Executive - Finance & Accounts to strengthen our finance operations and ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across financial processes.

Role Overview

The Associate Manager - Finance & Accounts will be responsible for managing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, statutory compliance, reconciliations, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting fundamentals, hands-on experience with Zoho Books, and a thorough understanding of GST, TDS, and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable (AR)

Prepare, verify, and process e-invoices for sales and services rendered.
Record all sales and service transactions in Zoho Books.
Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers and ensure timely and accurate posting of customer payments.
Prepare and maintain receivables, outstanding, and ageing reports.
Follow up on collections and resolve customer billing discrepancies.

Accounts Payable (AP)

Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes.
Record all purchase and expense transactions in Zoho Books.
Verify vendor invoices against procurement records, inbound details, and ERP reports.
Reconcile accounts payable ledgers to ensure accurate vendor accounting.
Prepare payable ageing and outstanding reports.
Generate and maintain Purchase Orders (POs).
Address vendor payment-related queries and provide timely resolutions.
Perform periodic vendor ledger reconciliations and obtain balance confirmations.

Accounting & Financial Operations

Post journal entries after verification of supporting documents and purchase orders.
Record and reconcile bank transactions accurately.
Perform daily reconciliation of company bank accounts.
Support monthly book closure activities and preparation of Profit & Loss statements.
Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and documentation in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Statutory Compliance & Taxation

Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other applicable regulations.
Prepare and file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B returns within stipulated timelines.
Prepare and file quarterly TDS returns.
Perform reconciliation of GSTR-2B, 26AS, and books of accounts.
Support ROC compliance activities and statutory filings.
Coordinate during audits and provide required financial data and documentation.

Reporting & Stakeholder Management

Assist the Accounts Manager in preparing MIS reports and management dashboards.
Coordinate with banks and internal stakeholders for banking-related activities.
Respond promptly to client and vendor inquiries via email and telephone.
Support process improvement initiatives and automation efforts within the finance function.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

Educational Qualification

CA Inter (Mandatory)
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting preferred.

Experience

3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
Proven experience handling Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Reconciliations, and Statutory Compliances.

Technical Skills

Hands-on experience with Zoho Books is mandatory.
Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, and ROC compliances.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
Experience working with ERP systems will be an added advantage.
Understanding of AI-powered productivity and finance tools is preferred.
