Job Description: Inside Sales Executive – Marketplace App

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Inside Sales Executive to grow our marketplace app by acquiring new sellers, vendors. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, conducting sales calls, onboarding businesses, and building long-term relationships to drive platform growth.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and reach out to potential sellers, merchants, and service providers.
Generate and qualify leads through calls, emails, and online channels.
Present the marketplace app's features, benefits, and business opportunities.
Convert prospects into active platform partners.
Assist sellers with registration, onboarding, and profile setup.
Maintain regular follow-ups to ensure engagement and retention.
Achieve monthly sales and onboarding targets.
Update customer information and sales activities in CRM systems.
Coordinate with operations and support teams for smooth onboarding.
Gather market feedback and competitor insights.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
0-6 months of experience in inside sales, tele-sales, business development, or marketplace sales.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build relationships and close deals over phone and virtual meetings.
Basic knowledge of CRM tools and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
Self-motivated and target-oriented mindset.

Preferred Skills

Experience in e-commerce, marketplace platforms, SaaS, or digital products.
Lead generation and prospecting skills.
Strong problem-solving and customer relationship management abilities.
Fluency in English and local language(s).

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Number of new sellers/vendors onboarded.
Lead-to-conversion rate.
Revenue generated from acquired accounts.
Seller activation and retention rate.
Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.
