We Digital Media is looking for an ambitious, creative, and business-oriented person to join the company as a founding team member and potential long-term co-founder.
This is not a conventional fixed-salary corporate job. The selected candidate will work directly with the founder to build the company’s online presence, acquire clients, convert leads, and develop new business opportunities.
The person will receive a fixed monthly founding stipend of up to ₹5,000, along with a performance-based share of the net profit generated from eligible clients and projects sourced and converted through their contribution.
Initial Responsibilities
- Work directly with the founder on Vigital’s growth and business strategy.
- Plan educational and informative content for Instagram and YouTube.
- Help create scripts, ideas, hooks, and topics for educational reels and videos.
- Participate in or coordinate the recording of Instagram Reels and YouTube content.
- Post and manage content consistently across Instagram, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
- Reply to enquiries received through social media, WhatsApp, email, or the website.
- Speak with potential clients, understand their requirements, and explain Vigital’s services.
- Follow up with leads and convert suitable prospects into paying clients.
- Maintain professional relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Assist with client onboarding and coordinate project requirements with the delivery team.
- Identify potential partnerships, collaborations, and new sources of business.
- Maintain records of leads, follow-ups, conversions, payments, and project status.
- Review weekly performance, content growth, enquiries, and sales results with the founder.
- Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and actively contribute ideas for growing the company.
Ideal Candidate
The candidate should:
- Have strong communication and client-handling skills.
- Be comfortable speaking with potential clients through calls, messages, and meetings.
- Understand social media content, Instagram Reels, and YouTube.
- Be interested in AI, websites, digital services, automation, marketing, or online businesses.
- Have a sales-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Be able to take initiative without requiring constant supervision.
- Be consistent, responsible, and interested in building a company for the long term.
- Be comfortable working in an early-stage environment where roles may evolve as the company grows.
- Have good written and spoken English and Hindi. Punjabi would be an advantage.
Compensation Structure
- Fixed monthly founding stipend of up to ₹5,000.
- An additional 30%–40% share of the net profit from eligible clients or projects directly sourced and converted through the selected person’s contribution.
- The exact percentage may depend on the person’s involvement in lead generation, sales conversion, client handling, and project coordination.
- Net profit will be calculated after deducting applicable direct project expenses, refunds, taxes, third-party costs, advertising expenditure, and payment-processing charges.
- Profit-sharing payments will be released only after the client’s payment has been successfully received and the applicable refund period has passed.
- Clients already associated with Vigital before the candidate joins will not automatically be included in the profit-sharing arrangement.
- Any future equity, ownership, or formal co-founder rights will be discussed separately based on long-term contribution, performance, trust, and mutual compatibility.
- Any equity or ownership arrangement will require a separate written agreement.
Initial Evaluation Period
The first 90 days will be a mutual evaluation period. During this period, both parties will evaluate communication, consistency, contribution, business generation, working compatibility, and long-term commitment.
Strong performance may lead to expanded responsibilities, a revised compensation structure, and consideration for a formal long-term co-founder arrangement.
