Department: Admissions & Marketing
Designation: Senior Manager – Admissions & Marketing
Reporting To: Director / Vice Chancellor / Senior Management
Location: BEST Innovation University
Employment Type: Full-Time

1. Job Purpose

The Senior Manager – Admissions & Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing admissions and marketing strategies to achieve student enrollment targets, strengthen the university’s brand presence, generate quality leads, and improve conversion rates across undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and other academic programs.

2. Key Responsibilities

Admissions Management

Develop and implement annual and quarterly admission strategies to achieve enrollment targets.
Lead the complete admission cycle from lead generation to student enrollment.
Set admission targets for counsellors, telecallers, BDMs, and admission teams.
Monitor daily and monthly admission performance against targets.
Improve lead-to-application and application-to-admission conversion rates.
Ensure timely follow-up with prospective students and parents.
Coordinate with academic and administrative departments for smooth admissions.
Develop strategies for domestic and international student recruitment.

Marketing & Brand Management

Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels.
Strengthen university brand visibility and market positioning.
Plan campaigns through Google, Meta, social media, email, WhatsApp, events, education portals, and other relevant channels.
Coordinate with creative and digital marketing teams for campaign content.
Monitor campaign performance, lead quality, cost per lead, and ROI.
Identify new markets, student segments, and promotional opportunities.

Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and motivate the Admissions & Marketing team.
Allocate targets and responsibilities based on individual capabilities.
Conduct regular performance reviews and team meetings.
Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans.
Develop training programs for admission counsellors and marketing executives.
Build a performance-driven and customer-focused team culture.

Lead Management & CRM

Establish an effective lead management and follow-up process.
Monitor leads through CRM/ERP systems.
Ensure accurate and timely updating of lead and admission data.
Analyse lead sources and conversion performance.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management.

Business Development & Partnerships

Develop partnerships with schools, colleges, educational consultants, corporates, and other relevant institutions.
Identify opportunities for student outreach programs, seminars, career fairs, education fairs, and campus events.
Build relationships with key stakeholders and referral partners.
Explore new geographical markets for student recruitment.

3. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Achievement of monthly and annual admission targets.
Lead generation and lead quality.
Lead-to-application conversion rate.
Application-to-admission conversion rate.
Cost per lead and cost per admission.
Marketing campaign ROI.
Revenue generated through admissions.
Team productivity and target achievement.
Growth in university brand visibility.
Number and quality of institutional partnerships.

4. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
MBA/PGDM in Marketing, Business Management, or a related specialization is preferred.
Experience in higher education admissions, education marketing, ed-tech, or a similar sector is preferred.

5. Experience

6–10 years of relevant experience in Admissions, Marketing, Business Development, or Education Marketing.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a managerial/team leadership role.
Proven track record of achieving student enrollment and revenue targets.
