QA/Testing Engineer — Delivery App (Vendor, Admin, Customer, Delivery & GraphQL APIs)
Yerbahub | Remote | Contract / Full-time
About the Project
We're building a delivery app ecosystem with a React Native mobile app for customers, a React Native mobile app for delivery partners, a vendor-facing React Native mobile app, a React/Next.js admin web dashboard, and a Node.js backend with GraphQL APIs. We need an experienced QA engineer to thoroughly test our complete delivery flow end-to-end.
What You'll Test (Complete Delivery Setup)
Vendor Mobile App (React Native)
- Registration/onboarding, profile & document verification, menu management, item availability toggle, pricing updates, order receiving & acceptance, preparation time settings, order status updates (preparing/ready), earnings & payout tracking, notifications for new orders, promo & discount management
Admin Web Dashboard (React/Next.js)
- User management (customers, vendors, delivery partners), order monitoring & override, commission & payout management, analytics & reporting, dispute resolution, content management, system configuration, access control & roles
Customer Mobile App & Web (React Native / React/Next.js)
- Registration/login (social, email, phone), restaurant/vendor browsing & search, menu viewing with filters, cart management, checkout flow, multiple payment methods (COD, card, wallet), order placement & confirmation, real-time order tracking, push notifications & SMS, order history & reorder, ratings & reviews, refunds & customer support chat
Delivery Partner Mobile App (React Native)
- Driver onboarding & KYC verification, document upload & approval, online/offline toggle, order request & acceptance, pickup confirmation with code/QR, route navigation & GPS tracking, delivery confirmation with proof (photo, signature, OTP), earnings dashboard & daily/weekly payouts, ratings from customers, notification preferences
GraphQL APIs (Node.js)
- Query validation for all data fetching operations, mutation testing for create/update/delete actions, subscription testing for real-time updates (order status, location, notifications), authentication & authorization (JWT, role-based access), error handling & edge cases, rate limiting & throttling, input validation & sanitization, file upload operations (documents, proof images), webhook integrations (payments, notifications), performance under concurrent requests, schema consistency & backward compatibility
Critical End-to-End Flows to Validate
- Customer places order → Vendor receives & accepts → Preparation → Ready for pickup → Delivery partner assigned & accepts → Pickup with verification → Live GPS tracking → Delivery with proof → Payment settlement → Rating & review
- Vendor goes offline mid-order, customer cancels after vendor accepts, delivery partner cancels mid-trip, failed payment with retry, out-of-delivery-zone handling, GPS signal loss or app backgrounded, multiple orders batching for delivery partner, refund & dispute flow
