Job Summary
Meluha Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Website, SEO, AEO & GEO Specialist to strengthen the organisation's digital presence and drive sustainable organic growth. This role extends beyond traditional Search Engine Optimisation by incorporating Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) to ensure the institution remains highly visible across search engines, AI-powered search platforms, and emerging generative technologies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the organisation's WordPress websites, executing technical and on-page SEO strategies, optimising local search presence, implementing structured data, improving AI search visibility, and collaborating with marketing, admissions, and leadership teams to increase admissions enquiries through organic channels.
This position requires an analytical, proactive, and technically proficient professional who can independently execute website improvements, monitor digital performance, and adapt to the rapidly evolving search ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
1. Website Management & Optimisation
- Manage, maintain, and continuously improve the organisation's WordPress websites.
- Develop and update webpages, landing pages, blogs, and campaign pages using Elementor and Astra.
- Ensure all websites are fully responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Optimise website speed, Core Web Vitals, usability, accessibility, and overall user experience.
- Maintain website security, uptime, backups, and functionality.
- Manage website forms, enquiry forms, lead capture mechanisms, and conversion pathways.
- Publish SEO-optimised content following established content guidelines.
- Implement structured data and schema markup to improve search visibility.
- Troubleshoot technical website issues and coordinate timely resolutions.
- Perform periodic website audits and recommend improvements for performance and user experience.
2. Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
a) Technical SEO
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits covering crawlability, indexation, site architecture, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonicalisation, and Core Web Vitals.
- Identify and resolve technical SEO issues affecting website performance and rankings.
- Optimise website architecture for improved search engine crawling and indexing.
b) On-Page SEO
- Conduct keyword research aligned with admissions and institutional objectives.
- Perform competitor research and benchmark search performance.
- Optimise:

- Optimise curriculum pages, admissions pages, programme pages, blogs, and campus pages.

- Maintain NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistency across directories.
- Build and maintain local citations.
- Develop review generation and response strategies.

d) Off-Page SEO
- Develop backlink acquisition strategies through:

3. Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO)
- Develop content specifically structured for AI-powered answer engines.
- Create concise answer-first content that addresses frequently asked parent questions.
- Build and maintain structured FAQ knowledge bases.

- Monitor brand representation across AI-generated responses.
- Identify inaccurate or outdated institutional information appearing in AI-generated answers and coordinate corrective updates through authoritative content.
- Create citation-worthy content using:
- Verified institutional information
- Curriculum comparisons
- Accreditation details
- Structured tables
- Admission information
- Strengthen off-site authority through education portals, review platforms, media mentions, and trusted third-party websites.
- Track organisational visibility across AI-generated search responses using manual testing and emerging GEO monitoring tools.
5. Growth Operations, Analytics & Reporting
- Configure and manage:
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
- Google Search Console
- Google Tag Manager
- Monitor:
- Organic traffic
- User engagement
- Goal conversions
- Admissions enquiries
- Website behaviour
- Analyse keyword rankings and search visibility.
- Measure AI-answer visibility and local search performance.
- Generate monthly performance reports covering:

- Present actionable insights and strategic recommendations to leadership.
6. Content Strategy & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing and content teams to develop SEO, AEO, and GEO-driven content strategies.
- Prepare SEO content briefs for blogs, admissions pages, landing pages, and informational resources.
- Collaborate with paid media teams to align organic and paid keyword strategies while avoiding keyword cannibalisation.
- Coordinate with admissions counsellors to identify common parent enquiries and convert them into searchable content and FAQs.
- Support digital campaigns, admissions initiatives, and institutional branding activities through strategic organic optimisation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in SEO, Google Analytics, Digital Marketing, AI Search Optimisation, or Website Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Website Management and Search Engine Optimisation.
- Minimum 6–12 months of practical exposure to Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO), AI Search Optimisation, or Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO).
- Strong experience managing WordPress websites.
- Experience in educational institutions, healthcare, real estate, local service industries, or other high-consideration purchase sectors will be highly preferred.
- Experience working within lean marketing teams and reporting directly to leadership or founders will be an added advantage.
