Type: Full-time
Duration: 6 month contract (renewable depending on performance)
Base Location: Can be based anywhere in India, with a preference for Delhi NCR; requires regular travel to the field in Uttar Pradesh to ensure technology is built for real field conditions and drives high adoption
Role Overview
Oorja is looking for a data-driven, tech-savvy Product Analyst to own the digital backbone of our operations. Sitting at the intersection of technology, data and rural field operations, you will build and maintain the dashboards and data reporting systems leadership relies on for strategic decisions, drive the development and adoption of Zoho ERP across the organisation, and lead development of Zoho Creator apps and our farmer-facing app, Dhoop. You will also own IT and management of all of Oorja's internal systems, manage and grow partnerships with technology providers and other partners, and use AI-assisted development tools (such as Base44 and Claude Code) to build in-house tools, including AI-enabled GIS mapping to track and improve key business metrics like CAC and CLV. This role can be based anywhere in India, with a preference for Delhi NCR, and will involve regular travel to the field in Uttar Pradesh to make sure the technology you build reflects real field conditions and drives high adoption. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who is equally comfortable analysing data, managing a software build, documenting systems and processes thoroughly, and training non-technical field teams to use new tools.
Key Responsibilities
Product & App Development
● Own product development of Dhoop, Oorja's farmer-facing app, from feature scoping through to release.
● Lead end-to-end development of Zoho Creator field and web apps for digitising payment reporting, using AI-driven development practices from wireframing through testing and rollout.
● Use AI-assisted, low-code development platforms (such as Base44 and Claude Code) to build in-house tools, including AI-enabled GIS mapping to track and improve business KPIs such as CAC and CLV. Data Strategy & Insights
● Build, maintain and continuously iterate data dashboards that give leadership real-time visibility into operational and business performance.
● Lead data reporting, analysis and modelling — including trend analysis — to generate strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
● Design and run data collection and analysis projects supporting pilot projects and business model innovation. ERP Ownership & IT Governance
● Drive Zoho ERP development and implementation across the organisation.
● Own IT and management of all of Oorja's internal systems at an organisational level — this is an essential, non-negotiable part of the role — including tools selection, vendor relationships, data security and system uptime.
● Maintain thorough documentation across all systems, tools and processes — from technical specs and SOPs to training materials — as a core, ongoing part of the role.
Field Implementation & Change Management
● Design and deliver internal training and change-management campaigns to drive field-level adoption of Zoho ERP and other new tools.
● Manage and develop partnerships with potential partners, technology providers and vendors that can strengthen Oorja's product and technology capabilities.
● Travel regularly to project sites in Uttar Pradesh to pilot new tools, gather field feedback, and ensure technology is adapted to real field conditions.

● Experience supporting or leading implementation of an ERP or similar business software system.
● Experience working with cross-functional and non-technical teams, including training or onboarding users onto new systems.

● Experience in agriculture, renewable energy, rural infrastructure, or the social enterprise / development sector.

● Detail-oriented, structured problem-solver comfortable working independently.
● Strong documentation skills, with the discipline to keep systems, processes and decisions clearly recorded on an ongoing basis.
● Relationship-management skills, with the ability to identify, negotiate and manage partnerships with technology providers and other partners.
Preferred
● Experience with AI-assisted or low-code development tools (e.g. Base44, Claude Code).
● Familiarity with GIS/mapping tools and geospatial analysis.
