Job Summary

The Soft Skills Trainer is responsible for designing and delivering engaging training sessions to develop learners' communication, interpersonal, and professional skills. The trainer prepares students for academic success, interviews, workplace readiness, and career growth through interactive learning methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver training sessions on communication, personality development, and employability skills.
Conduct spoken English and business communication classes.
Train students in interview skills, group discussions, presentation skills, and public speaking.
Develop and update lesson plans, training materials, presentations, and assessments.
Conduct classroom activities, role plays, case studies, and practical exercises.
Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain attendance, training records, progress reports, and assessment documentation.
Organize mock interviews, workshops, seminars, and career readiness programs.
Mentor and counsel students to improve confidence, professionalism, and workplace behavior.
Coordinate with placement, academic, and training teams to enhance student employability.
Ensure timely completion of the curriculum and achieve learning outcomes.
Stay updated with current industry trends, corporate expectations, and modern training methodologies.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Psychology, Management, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
Master's degree or relevant certification in Soft Skills, Communication, or Training is preferred.

Experience

1–5 years of experience as a Soft Skills Trainer, Corporate Trainer, or Faculty.
Freshers with excellent communication and presentation skills may also apply.

Required Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
Fluency in English (knowledge of Hindi/Bengali is an added advantage).
Classroom management and learner engagement skills.
Interview preparation and career guidance expertise.
Time management and organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal and mentoring abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and online training platforms.
Ability to motivate and inspire learners.
