- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and identify gaps against targets.
- Track lead follow-ups, conversions, closures, and overall sales pipeline.
- Allocate leads/tasks effectively and ensure timely follow-up and closure.
- Conduct regular team huddles, performance discussions, and review meetings.
- Coach team members on sales techniques, counselling approaches, objection handling, follow-ups, and closing strategies.
- Monitor calls, customer interactions, and sales activities to ensure quality and process adherence.
- Provide constructive feedback and create individual improvement plans where required.
- Identify underperforming areas and take timely corrective action.
- Resolve customer and team escalations efficiently and professionally.
- Ensure the team follows company policies, SOPs, CRM processes, and communication standards.
- Maintain accurate sales records and ensure timely CRM updates by the team.
- Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports with management.
- Coordinate with admissions, operations, marketing, and other internal teams to ensure smooth lead-to-conversion workflow.
- Support onboarding, training, and development of new team members.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, lead management, and conversion rates.
- Maintain team discipline, accountability, productivity, and a positive workplace culture.
- Participate in education fairs, seminars, webinars, campaigns, and other business activities when required.
- Lead by example and actively contribute to achieving overall organizational sales objectives.
Targets & Performance Expectations
This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of numbers and team performance.
As a Sales Team Leader, you will be expected to:

- Drive lead-to-counselling, counselling-to-application, and application-to-conversion performance.
- Maintain a healthy and actively managed sales pipeline.
- Ensure timely follow-ups and effective lead utilization.
- Monitor individual team performance and take corrective action where required.
- Maintain accurate CRM data and sales reporting.
- Improve team productivity, conversion rates, and overall sales efficiency.
- Build a culture of accountability while keeping the team motivated and engaged.
Performance incentives are linked to achievement of applicable targets and performance metrics.
