Full job description

Job Summary

MBA ESG is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Manager – Outreach & Business Development to drive institutional outreach, strategic partnerships, lead generation and business development initiatives for the Pune campus.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the education sector, excellent networking and relationship-building skills, and a proven ability to develop new business opportunities and achieve growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute outreach and business development strategies to increase MBA ESG's visibility and student acquisition.
Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, universities, coaching institutes and educational consultants.
Identify and develop new institutional partnerships and referral networks.
Conduct college visits, career counselling sessions, seminars, workshops, education fairs and promotional events.
Generate qualified leads through institutional outreach, events, partnerships and other offline channels.
Explore new markets, territories and business opportunities for student recruitment.
Develop strategic partnerships with corporates, industry associations, education partners and other relevant organisations.
Represent MBA ESG at education fairs, conferences, exhibitions and networking events.
Coordinate with the Admissions and Marketing teams to convert outreach-generated leads into applications and enrolments.
Monitor competitor activities, market trends and student preferences and provide actionable insights to management.
Maintain regular communication and engagement with existing institutional partners.
Negotiate and manage partnership agreements and ensure mutually beneficial relationships.
Prepare and maintain weekly/monthly outreach and business development reports.
Track key metrics including leads generated, institutional visits, partnerships established, events conducted and enrolment contribution.
Lead, mentor and monitor the performance of the Outreach & Business Development team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in any discipline; MBA/PG qualification preferred.
5–8 years of experience in Education Sales, Business Development, Institutional Outreach, Student Recruitment or Higher Education.
Proven experience in developing institutional partnerships and generating leads.
Strong networking, communication and presentation skills.
Excellent negotiation and relationship-management abilities.
Strong target-oriented and business development mindset.
Ability to independently manage outreach activities and build new markets.
Good knowledge of Pune's education ecosystem and willingness to travel extensively for institutional visits and events.
Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and MIS reporting.

Number and quality of leads generated through outreach.
Number of institutional visits and events conducted.
New territories/markets developed.
Partnership and referral network growth.
Outreach-generated applications and enrolments.
Achievement of monthly and annual business development targets.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
