Job Title: Business Development Manager – Inbound Sales

Software Products | Mid-Level Role

Location: Remote
Experience Required: 3–5 Years
Industry: B2B SaaS / Software Products
Shift: IST Shift
Compensation: Up to ₹8 LPA

Key Responsibilities

Manage and qualify inbound leads through emails, calls, and product demonstrations.
Handle the sales process from initial client discovery through proposal, negotiation, and closure.
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable software solutions based on business needs.
Conduct customized product demonstrations highlighting key features, integrations, and benefits.
Build professional relationships with clients, stakeholders, and decision-makers.
Respond to customer queries, handle objections, and support effective sales negotiations.
Maintain regular follow-ups to ensure smooth movement of opportunities through the sales pipeline.
Update CRM records with accurate lead details, deal stages, follow-up activities, and forecasts.
Track sales performance indicators such as lead conversions, demo outcomes, and deal progress.
Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to improve customer engagement and product positioning.
Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Requirements

3–5 years of experience in B2B SaaS, software product sales, or inbound business development.
Experience selling software products, SaaS platforms, or enterprise technology solutions.
Good understanding of sales funnels, buyer journeys, and consultative selling.
Strong communication, presentation, and product demonstration skills.
Hands-on experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar tools.
Good negotiation, objection-handling, and deal-closing abilities.
Ability to understand software concepts and communicate them in a simple, business-focused manner.
Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
Ability to manage multiple leads and maintain consistent follow-ups.
Willingness to work in IST shift timings.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in EdTech, LMS, or enterprise software solutions.
Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, SaaS platforms, or cloud-based products.
Previous experience working with international clients, particularly in the UK or US markets.
