Full job description

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced VP of Sales to lead and scale our sales function and drive program conversions across The Healing Wiz. This is a senior leadership role responsible for owning the sales pipeline from workshop leads through program conversions, building a high-performance sales organisation, and consistently delivering revenue targets.

You will report directly to the Founder and work closely with the VP of Marketing and VP of Operations and Delivery to ensure strong alignment between lead generation, sales execution, customer experience, and business growth.

This is a fully remote position ideal for a strategic sales leader who is equally comfortable developing systems, analysing performance, coaching teams, and getting hands-on when required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSales & Revenue Leadership

Own the end-to-end sales function from workshop leads through program sales and revenue realisation.
Develop and execute sales strategies to consistently achieve workshop conversion and revenue targets.
Build and maintain a predictable sales pipeline from workshop registrations.
Identify opportunities to improve lead-to-sale conversion, average deal value, and overall revenue.
Work closely with the Founder to establish monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Sales Process & Systems

Build, refine, and implement sales playbooks, scripts, objection-handling frameworks, follow-up sequences, and closing processes.
Establish clear sales processes from lead assignment through qualification, follow-up, consultation, and closure.
Analyse the sales funnel to identify drop-offs and implement corrective strategies.
Establish sales forecasting and reporting systems.
Ensure accurate CRM management and pipeline visibility.

Team Leadership

Lead, manage, mentor, and develop the Sales team, including the Sales Manager, Sales Executives, and Chat Executives.
Set clear KPIs, targets, and performance expectations for the sales team.
Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and sales training.
Review sales calls and provide actionable feedback to improve conversion.
Recruit, onboard, and retain high-performing sales talent.
Build a culture of accountability, ownership, consistency, and performance.

Sales Performance & Analytics

Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance.
Monitor key metrics including:
Lead-to-contact rate
Contact-to-consultation rate
Consultation-to-sale conversion
Overall conversion rate
Program-wise conversion
Revenue per workshop cycle
Average deal value
Sales cycle
Follow-up performance
Identify underperformance quickly and implement action plans.
Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, insights, and recommendations to the Founder.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Identify underperformance quickly and implement action plans.

Work closely with the VP of Marketing to ensure marketing-generated leads are properly qualified and converted.
Provide feedback to Marketing on lead quality, messaging, campaigns, and customer behaviour.
Work with the VP of Operations and Delivery to ensure a smooth transition from sales to program delivery.
Represent the Sales function in leadership meetings.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

Workshop registrations: 1000+ participants per cycle
Revenue: Rs.1 crore per workshop cycle
Sales team productivity and target achievement
Lead follow-up and pipeline efficiency
Sales forecasting accuracy
Average deal value and conversion efficiency

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

8+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Revenue, or Sales Leadership.
Proven track record of consistently achieving significant sales and revenue targets.
Strong experience leading and scaling sales teams.
Experience in high-ticket B2C sales is strongly preferred.
Experience in edtech, coaching, wellness, personal development, or similar industries is preferred.
Strong understanding of sales funnels, consultative selling, objection handling, follow-ups, and closing.
Experience managing inbound and outbound sales teams.
Strong analytical and data-driven approach to sales management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, coaching, and leadership skills.
Strong ability to hold teams accountable while maintaining a positive performance culture.
Experience working with fully remote teams.
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Alignment with The Healing Wiz's mission and an appreciation for healing, transformation, and personal development is a strong plus.

WORKING HOURS

Work Mode: Fully Remote

Working Days: Monday to Friday
