Full job description

Job Title: Senior Export Executive
Department: Export Operations / Logistics
Location: Delhi (Mahipalpur)
Experience: 3–5Years

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Export Executive to manage end-to-end export operations while ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in export documentation, customs procedures, freight coordination, and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems. The role requires strong coordination with internal teams, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and international customers to ensure timely and accurate shipment execution.

Key Responsibilities

Manage complete export documentation, including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Shipping Bill, Certificate of Origin, Bill of Lading, and other regulatory documents.
Prepare and submit export documents through EDI systems in compliance with customs and DGFT requirements.
Coordinate with CHA (Custom House Agent), freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, and transporters for timely shipment execution.
Ensure compliance with export regulations, customs procedures, and international trade policies.
Monitor shipment schedules and proactively resolve operational issues to avoid delays.
Maintain accurate export records and shipment documentation for audits and compliance.
Liaise with banks for export documentation under LC, DA/DP, and advance payment terms.
Track export orders from dispatch through final delivery and provide shipment updates to customers.
Verify export invoices, freight bills, and related logistics costs.
Coordinate with production, planning, warehouse, finance, and sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Prepare export MIS reports, shipment status reports, and documentation records.
Identify opportunities to improve export processes and reduce documentation errors.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of export documentation and international shipping procedures.
Hands-on experience with EDI systems for customs filing and export documentation.
Good understanding of DGFT, Customs, GST, and FEMA regulations related to exports.
Familiarity with Incoterms, Letters of Credit (LC), and international payment terms.
Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Diploma or certification in Export-Import Management will be an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

3–4 years of experience in export operations within logistics industries.
Experience handling sea, air, and courier exports.
Practical exposure to customs EDI filing and coordination with customs authorities and logistics partners.

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
