Full job description

I’m building a content brand focused on perfumes, fragrance history, perfumery science, and luxury branding.

I’m looking for a talented motion designer/video editor who can create engaging documentary-style explainer videos inspired by the pacing and visual storytelling of channels like VOX.

Important: I am looking for the editing and storytelling style (motion graphics, maps, typography, archival footage, diagrams, animations, pacing), not copying VOX branding or proprietary assets.

What You’ll Create

Videos will typically be 6–12 minutes long and include:

Motion graphics
Kinetic typography
Animated infographics
Maps
Timelines
Product animations
Historical imagery
B-roll integration
Stock footage
Smooth transitions
Custom icon animations
Simple 2D illustrations when needed

Example topics:

Why Baccarat Rouge 540 became a global phenomenon
The history of oud
How fragrance molecules work
The business of niche perfumes
Why luxury perfumes cost so much
The psychology of scent

Responsibilities

You’ll receive:

Final script
Voiceover
References
Brand guidelines

You’ll be responsible for:

Developing the visual story
Finding appropriate stock footage/images
Creating motion graphics
Animating charts, diagrams, and maps
Editing everything into a polished YouTube video
Sound design where appropriate
Color consistency
Delivering editable project files
