Job Description – Azure DevOps /Python Developer

Experience: 6+ Years
Location: Any UST Location
Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer / Python Developer with strong expertise in Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Python development, and cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable deployment pipelines, developing backend services and REST APIs, automating workflows, and supporting cloud-based application deployments. Experience with AI/ML-based automation is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and YAML.
Build reusable pipeline templates and manage multi-stage build and release pipelines.
Develop backend applications and automation solutions using Python and FastAPI.
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI.
Automate development, testing, and deployment processes to improve delivery efficiency.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
Work with Azure cloud services, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Registry (ACR).
Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth application delivery.
Implement best practices for version control, code quality, security, and DevOps automation.
Explore and implement AI/ML-driven solutions to improve automation, testing, and operational efficiency.

Required Skills

6+ years of experience in DevOps and Python development.
Strong expertise in Azure DevOps and YAML-based CI/CD pipelines.
Proficiency in Python development.
Experience with FastAPI or similar Python web frameworks.
Strong knowledge of REST API development and integration.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
Good understanding of Git, CI/CD, and DevOps best practices.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

Experience with AI/ML concepts or AI-powered automation solutions.
Knowledge of ArgoCD and Helm.
Experience with Azure cloud services.
Exposure to automation testing frameworks.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Microsoft Azure certifications are an added advantage.
