Overview:
ABOUT THE TEAM: RealPage is seeking a Salesforce Developer II position for our Business Enterprise Solutions Technology (BEST) Department at RealPage, Inc. The Salesforce Developer will work closely with different teams and admin resources to develop, document and design efficient solutions, write minimal technical documentation for implementations, Integrations, enhancements to the salesforce.com platform and development.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of all technical aspects of Salesforce.com, including data migrations, data quality, systems integrations, 3rd party applications, AppExchange products, and custom code.

Responsible for developing in Visualforce, Apex, and other technologies to build customized solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions.

Drive AI-powered enhancements across Salesforce (Service, Sales, and Platform).

Implement Einstein AI, Generative AI, and automation-driven solutions to improve productivity and decision-making.
-
Seek out ways to utilize SFDC to improve processes and productivity and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace.

Define, communicate, and manage a change management (release) process to develop and implement new applications/code and updates to existing applications/code.

Continuously identify opportunities to optimize processes using AI + automation.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements.
-
Application development, including basic Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Lightning Web Components, assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code.

Design and implement AI-enabled features, including:
Einstein Predictions & Recommendations
AI-powered Case/Lead routing and summarization
Prompt Builder and Copilot configurations

Build intelligent workflows using Flow + AI logic.
-
Implement Generative AI use cases such as:
- Case summarization
- Email/response generation
- Knowledge recommendations
-
Working with integrated applications such as DocuSign, Conga, TFS etc.

Testing (unit and systems), and debugging.
-
Striving towards coding best practices and data quality.
-
Contributing to technical documentation.

Supporting as a Salesforce Administrator on occasions.

Experience implementing and developing in Apex, Visualforce, and JavaScript.

Qualifications:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or related field.

5+ years previous development experience with Salesforce.com (Certified Salesforce.com Admin & Sr Admin, PD1).

Solid understanding of and detailed experience with Salesforce.com architecture and API.
-
Detailed experience writing Visualforce and Apex classes and triggers.
-
Ability to translate business problems into AI-driven Salesforce solutions

Experience delivering production-grade AI features with measurable impact

Strong understanding of responsible AI, governance, and data security

Experience with Salesforce AI capabilities, including:
- Einstein AI / Einstein GPT / Copilot / Prompt Builder
- AI-powered automation with Flow

Understanding of data architecture for AI (clean, structured, model-ready data)

Proficiency in HTML, XML, Flex, JavaScript, ASP, SQL, Java or C++, SOAP-based web services.

Experience using Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Excel Connector, Demand Tools, Eclipse Force.com IDE).

Extensive experience with customization on the Salesforce Lightning platform using declarative platform-tools.

In-depth knowledge of APEX with a strong experience of using developer toolkit including Apex Classes, Controllers, and Triggers.

Substantial experience of using Visual Force for SF development.

Strong understanding of relational databases.

Demonstrative success with multiple Salesforce.com integration projects.
