Full job description

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Regional Sales Manager to drive business growth across the assigned region through franchisee creation, distributor appointment, channel development, and sales expansion.

The ideal candidate should have a strong track record in building and managing franchise networks and distributor channels, identifying new business opportunities, achieving sales targets, and developing long-term channel partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and business growth targets.
Identify potential markets and appoint new franchisees and distributors across the assigned territory.
Lead the complete process of franchisee creation, including prospect identification, evaluation, negotiation, onboarding, and activation.
Develop and expand the distributor network to increase market reach and product availability.
Generate leads through market visits, references, networking, and other business development activities.
Evaluate prospective franchisees/distributors based on financial capability, market potential, infrastructure, and business suitability.
Negotiate commercial terms and finalize agreements in coordination with management.
Ensure timely onboarding, training, and activation of new franchisees and distributors.
Set and monitor sales targets for franchisees, distributors, and sales teams.
Maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners and improve their productivity and profitability.
Identify underperforming franchisees/distributors and develop action plans for business improvement.
Conduct regular market visits to understand competition, customer requirements, pricing, and market trends.
Monitor regional sales performance, inventory, collections, and channel health.
Work closely with marketing, operations, finance, and supply-chain teams to ensure smooth channel operations.
Prepare regular reports on sales, new appointments, market development, and regional performance.
Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and channel processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
5–10 years of experience in sales/channel development/business development.
Proven experience in franchisee creation and distributor appointment is mandatory/preferred.
Strong understanding of channel sales, franchise business models, and distribution networks.
Demonstrated ability to identify and convert new franchisee/distributor opportunities.
Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a large geographic territory.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
Strong knowledge of local markets and business networks will be an advantage.
